I didn't receive a tracking number in my email either.... I had to log into USCIS and look at the update itself and it provided a tracking number.

My problem yesterday is that USPS says it was delivered in my mailbox... but it's not there.

Well same thing happened to my mom's gc. Usps delivered it last Saturday to the wrong address! Iam so upset that because of that one mistake that mailman not doing their job properly! Supervisor asked the carrier to start knocking at door! I don't know now where is that gc and worries me that somebody got it and will not return it. This is really upsetting thinking to have to file for replacement 450$ and wait another 6 months for the card and we have plan trip coming up in 3 months! That's all because of one mistake delivering it to wrong mailbox!

You better go to your local post office and find out before its too late talk to the Postman directly! The supervisor i spoke with seems not to care and thought that was just a creditcard letter! So i told her that was a gc your mailman just lost!

So the usps can't find or track my mom's gc after they delivered it to the wrong address! Good job usps for losing important document that we have waited for almost a year!

What can be more upsetting than waiting for almost a year and finally got approval and my mother's green card was delivered to the wrong address!!! Now i don't know where my mom's gc! Sorry i have to vent. WHY CAN'T JUST MAKE IT EASY FOR ALL OF US IF THEY WILL JUST DO THEIR JOB PROPERLY! I went to post office to find out and guess what it was delivered to a different address. The supervisor was supposed to call me and tell me where is that important document And i got no phone call! I will try to go there again. When you think it's finally over then this will happen. Unbelievable! !!

Thank you to this forum for all the help and support. I have been lurker on this topic and just want to share my mom's case. Submitted May 05, 2014, NPIW august 13, 2014, did two service request and her case was transferred to Providence local office. Today I got a text that my mom's card is in production!! Finally got her approval! Thank you and praying for those people waiting for so long will get their approval soon!

I file for my mom's AOS May 5, 2014, got ,NPIW August 12, 2014. I requested Service request twice already and got same reply we cannot give you time how long it will take to process your case. I filed help from Ombudsman and said 60 days to get answer. Then I tried to expedite her case because I can't apply for health insurance without a gc. I got reply that my case was forwarded to Providence local field office And Boston request a general inquiry to providence local office and same reply can't give timeframe how long it will take. How long it will take once your case was transferred to field office? Can I ask again to expedite her case for medical reasons? Thanks alot! This forum is very helpful. Hi here's my case. I Filed for my mom's AOS May 2014, received EAD/AP july 2014, received potential waiver interview case letter aug2014, its been 7 months now still no updates yet for my mom's case still fingerprint fee received and her case is in Nebraska. I called a month ago about her case and uscis said wait 15-30 days to get something in the mail and call them back again. I didn't received anything. I am just confused which comes first cause it says on her case history an inquiry about why case taking longer than processing time is assigned for officer for response.then on her next steps it says an inquiry about why taking longer is not yet assigned for processing. I am not sure which one comes first for both has same date February 17, 2015. thanks for taking time to reply.

Hi everyone I submitted my N400 last May 2012 and I didnt notice that when I filed my application I submitted copy of expired conditional greencard instead of the permanent greencard. Will that gonna affect my application? Pls help me... I am so worried that I made that huge mistake. Thanks

I got text message and email today: Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On June 28, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Just one quick question do you have your complete name in the envelope where they put the mailing address? thank you Im worried coz If its complete name it might be send again to wrong address because the people who used to live in our present house have the same middle name as mine and for some reason UPS is sending my mail to them. thanks

I just got my card in the mail. It also came via USPS priority mail.

The card's approval date is actually 6/20.

To those who got their greencard congrats! I just have a question.... does your complete name appears on the envelop from USCIS of your greencard? Coz Im worried that if its complete name with maiden name I wont be able to recieve the card. thanks

I missed my biometrics appointment that is supposedly last Feb28 because the letter was sent to the wrong address. Long story short is the person who used to live in our house has the same last name as my maiden name. So some of my mail was sent to her house when she change address. Luckily she went to my house to give my mail from USCIS and tax paper. I went to ASC in Boston and told the officer of what happened. She is very nice to let me do my biometrics yesterday March 8. Thank God its done. Now Im worried that my greencard will also be send to the wrong address if they write my maiden name... Hopefully it will be ok.

Got my SSN finally and was able to submit my application for CNA state certification exam. I am still waiting for reply and exam schedule for that and also waiting not so patiently for the admission/denial letter for the nursing program that i applied to, the program coordinator in the community college said they won't mail the letters out in the next 2 weeks so it might be last week of may or first week of june . As of the time being I am enjoying the CNA (certified nursing assistant) clinicals, I never thought I would enjoy it but I do. Will try to get a volunteer work while waiting to be certified as CNA.

What are you up to? How's your wife? Is she driving already? Working?

Im also a nurse by profession and I love it! Its very fulfilling and rewarding profession. I recently got my learner's permit but still need to schedule road test. I am still waiting for call for job interview to all the hospital jobs I applied online but still no luck

It clearly states that NCLEX-RN is a state board exam taken to be licensed here in US. It is a National exam not an international exam.

Maybe you are just saying its an international exam because the exam is given in other countries testing site of pearsonvue like in Hongkong and Philippines. US educated nurses are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN after graduation. But If you are foreign educated nurse, the Board of Nursing in the state where you are applying your licensure will determine your eligibility by evaluating your credentials (CES) Credential Evaluation Service done by CGFNS.

Hi folks, I was at SSA today to remove the restriction on my SSN card. They took my old SSN card and only needed to see my green card. (I brought my passport and our marriage certificate). The officer told me that I will get the new card in mail in 5 - 10 business day. Just one quick question, they won't change my SSN #, even with a new card, right?

Yes you will have the same SSN # but there will be no more restriction that says "valid for work only with DHS authorization" with the new card.
