Also, my fiancee received her form after 20 days, when New Delhi embassy mailed it out.

They are slow, agree, but to be safe its better to fill that form and send it out.

i havent got the packet 3 yet from the mumbai consulate...and its been 14 days they sent me..

so when i called them and asked,they told me to download the forms from the website n send them,,,but im confused to what to send them??

This is a great advice and I have to agree that long distance with the waiting period can be extremely hard.

My fiancee would sometimes get cranky over the phone, cause she is bored and specially on weekends when she has nothing to do: she would get frustrated and so would I. There has been severe arguments and fights, but then I realize that its all a period of communication gap: phone lines and skype's are not enough.

How did you handle arguments or any miscommunication. I mean- I am from US as well and sometimes its hard to have that good of a globally understandable emotional intelligence. Any Advice?

As far as I know and as explained by USCIS:

The EAC number is determined as follows: for example my friend Rob's EAC number is 08 015 50023

I know that :

08 represents the month of the fiscal year that the application was received

015- represents the 15th working day of the Fiscal year (out of 265 working days)

50023- represents the case number

WHICH is always supposed to begin with 5- as I am told by some other websites

However, THE LAST 5 DIGITS of my case number begins with 1**** (5 digits, but starts with 1)

IS this usual? or unusual?

when I got engaged, we did not have any rings exchanged.

Like in some religions we simply went to the temple and prayed and exchanged gifts,

do I really need a ring receipt, if there were none exchanged.

Also,

we never had email exchanged, we call each other and use skype for webcam chatting. is having email communication absolutely necessary to prove, or can I print out chat records from GMAIL showing that we have communicated. And this is all for form I-129F
