Help can somebody PLEASE help us, we are getting ready to file our AOS for my husband on a K-1 visa. My questions is where do i go to pay online. We got all the forms but i don't understand where to pay. Can somebody please help us out! Thanks so much!

I know back in 2007 when I was in Egypt with Adam his background checks were finished and he received a letter from the Embassy that told him to get the movement certificate. Well our situation is VERY different, but the police would not give Adam the paper and we were harassed for 4 months. Ask Jeanne and her husband Wael what to do about the paper, I think its only supposed to take 2-3 weeks to obtain from the local police office.

Yes that's the last step usually so God willing he will have his visa in hand soon.

OMG Tamara I sooo remember that nightmare that you went through with that movement certificate. And the thing is no one really knows why they even ask some and not others for it. My husband was never asked for it.

Hello I don't know what to really think, my fiance had his interview on March 15, 2009 and April 13, 2009 the embassy called him and requested his passport to be sent back to them. So he sent it and we were waiting on it and then the embassy called him twice couple weeks later requesting a movement certificate and after two weeks waiting for this paper he sent it on May12, 2009. I have emailed the embassy every other day and still the same thing: The case is pending administrative processing. We will contact you once that is completed or they say an officer's review. What does this mean???? I keep asking them if there's a problem and they keep saying NO! I don't understand this at all! We would like to know whats going on and try to make since of all this!

Has anybody else had this problem before & know how long this will take before he gets issued his visa?? I know that they have requested this paper from another couple and they are waiting for it to be returned to them so they can send it back to the embassy too.

tell us when u get it so we can know the time and i know 2 persons requested to send the passports the same date 4-13

Well I got great news! I emailed the embassy and they responded to me with this:

Dear Madam:

Our records show that we contacted applicant to send the passport to our office by the DHL courier mail. We will process the case to conclusion once we receive the passport.

Hello i have an question for anyone that could help. My fiance had his interview on March 15, 2009 and they told him that it would be 1-3 weeks and they would call him to send back his passport. During the mean time we been emailing the embassy and calling the DOS (Department of State) for updates. Last week the DOS told us that our case was sent back to them for security clearance and won't tell us anymore. Well today my fiance got a phone call from the embassy requesting his passport. What does this mean?? Are they getting ready to issue his visa and what about the DOS said??? We don't know what to believe! We are happy that they called but still very confused! Can anybody tells what to do or to think right now! Thanks so much all your help!

NO there was no time frame on our paper! Am going to to call the DOS again tomorrow and ask more questions about if it was our paperwork or his name clearance!

Was there an estimated time frame on the paper?

My husbands paper said 'approximately 4 months'.....sooooo inshallah soon

Hello i just wanted to see if anybody could help me understand what really going on. I been emailing the Embassy and they say our case is undergoing necessary administrative processing and that there's no problems & nothing wrong. LOL So i called the DOS and they said i was waiting security clearance and today i called them to see again and said the same thing and i asked them if our case was still in Cairo and she said NO it in the USA. What does this mean??? I don't think this is a good thing! I have people tell me it just for the name check but we don't know what really going on! We are so scared and very confused! I hope maybe somebody can let us know good or bad! Thanks so much!

Hello, my fiance had his interview on March 15, 2009 and we been tracking his DHL and as of yesterday we been touched 5 times. I called the DOS today and she said we are waiting Security clearance. I hope this is a good sign and this will go fast! I wish everybody the Best Luck and Wishes and this will all behind us soon! Take care everyone & God Bless!

I have another question about the AP. I have emailed the Embassy 3 times and they sent me an email back saying this Dear Madam:

The case is pending the officer’s final review.

We are working as fast as we can to process the case to conclusion.

Is this normal and is my fiance getting ready to be issued his visa??? He had his interview last Sunday and they told him 1-3 weeks and then they will send a letter to him and he then will send his passport back to them. We are just getting excited for the end to be near.

Well my fiance had his interview today. They didn't keep his passport and gave him a letter saying that its Administrative Processing. In 1-3 week they will send him a paper and then he sends back his passport. We don't understand whats going on? Is he approved or denied? We been reading lots of peoples stories and they wait so long, and i don't know if they even get there visas. Can anybody help us to understand all this and comfort us in our grieving time of need?

Ok you all I need advice! My so-called friend has hurt my feelings very badly. I am sending this message anonymously because I do not want to let my identity be known but get advice from you all anonymously. Ok here is the story:

Ok, my so-called friend told me tonight that my husband may not love me because I am not his race. He is from another country and the women there are beautiful more than my race (she told me) and he must be using me obviously for green card. Ok, I am a woman of color, mixed race Cuban/Indian and African from the islands. I am not an ugly woman but since I am brown skinned it is a red flag that my huaband should have married a light skinned woman or a woman from his country. So, can you tell me what to do?

1. How can I know what to do? Should I leave my husband?

2. Is this person just being a jerk and should I just withdraw my friendship from her?

Please you all I keep crying. Do not judge me or think bad of me or make rude comments. I have been crying an hour. She really hurt me.
