  1. Hi,

I saw your status here & your concerne about the " proofs". Regarding the phone calls proofs: don't worry much as long as you have 3-5 saved calls of archive from yahoo/whatever means of calling you made bring it in the interview. If possible if you can bring the very first proof of your relationship like the chat archives 2006 if you still have, that's one of the proof that you started you know eachother and pick 3-5 chat's in a year since back then you started chatting & if you do have postal mail, reciepts of transactions you made, travel proofs, photos that you did meet each other in the Philippines and that engagement you are planning ofcourse. Have a copy of your passport stams of entry and departure when you went to the Philippines. I suggest to put in envelopes/folder organize and label each folder in front of it that all in that files this will help your time and fell you relax that all are in tact: like one folder are all her documents such as copy of her passport.authenticated birth cert.(NSO copy),etc.,; Filled up Forms with signature & date prior to interivew date, Affidavit of Support, W2. ITR,: and another file of folder of you and hers like chat proofs/emails, calls, letters if you have,; put all the photos you have together in a Ziploc/ transparent bag ( note: don't let her bring the album because the windows at the embassy are too small). Hope this will help for you guys..trust me this all what I did and all my documents are intact/ organize and I all have my genuine proofs, I felt nervous and anxious honestly but what I did on my documents went great and it helps alot, I was only one who went to the interview. Your fiancee will be lucky because you have her on that day. Your presence will counts but mostly the interview will be to her. Don't don't her forget to bring her NOA's the embassy office will ask this/ and proof of payment stamped by the bank. Whatever you wrote on your Letter of Intent you submitted when you filled the petition is one of hints to remember & your important dates relationships since you'd met. " Don't mind the fixer outside the embassy they will mess you up and they will distract you this & that  . As long as you all have printed updated forms and genuine you'll be good and safe. Good luck to both! :)

  2. Hi ToddnJessa, I understand your anxiousness about the proofs of your relationship. Don't worry much about it. What ever the first proofs and latest of friendship and lead to a relationship proofs go for it to submit & enclose for the Petition. Either my husband just choose 1-5 proofs of emails/letters submitted for the filling. We don't have much letters either, we only have emails & postal mail receipts. Your snail mail would be one of the great evidence and include some chat archives as well and atleast 3-6 pictures of both if you have and include the latest proofs card/statements/receipts between you & her and make a Letter of Intent stating your name and your fiance/e name, how did you meet and state your intention for this petition. Save the other evidences for future reference like bunch of e-mails/snail mails, etc.

Hope this would help you in some ways of idea. Good luck! Feeel free to ask next time.

    Yours, ericdette137

  3. NO need to hire a lawyer if I were you because it would cost you much much of money. If you and your fiance/e has genuine proofs of relationships( like you meet each another personally or with both family meeting with evidences like photos or videos or airline tickets, proof of engagement letters, emails/ mails etc), legal documents both sides, proof of affidavit of support for soon as one of the requirements need whne you are filling or on the interview day..If you think you all have this you don't need to hire lawyer because some I heared too it would just a waste of money or time, like for example if there are Questions to ask on both sides like in a case on your Birth cert. or whatever lawyers need more time to answer that etc etc. unlike if the it is by your self it would just easy because you know all your personal date/documents and some says that some takes very low. In my case, I did not hire a laywer because I know I can do it and plus I all have my proofs of evidences detailed and organized, I kept all the proofs from the very start of our relationship and it turns out great on the day of interview. I handled binders & folders with me even it is very heavy to bring it during the interview. And it works without a lawyer :) and on ethe day of interview I was only me no fiance backup lol as others have :). Since the day of filling( made my my petioner/fiance) we got the NOA1 from the USCIS 2 months later then, since then we only waited 3 months I got the NA2 from the Embassy for my interview. I think it went all like 7 months all of waiting. We really thought it takes a year but Thanks God it went so smooth & great! So, Good luck for your processing. Think positive as you go forward on this process surely it will go through fine to boht of you!

Hope my simple advice will help:).:ot2:

Oops sorry I meant on my message NOA( Notice of Action) from the USCIS.

  4. Hi I read your post.. on my case in filling AOS I paid $1,010 .. here is the link you can looks too for some other feesthis is from USCIS fixed fee to pay for the forms .

    http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD

OR just google USCIS then on the USCIS home page go for FORM then click it you can see the exact fees for the apllication. Hope this may help you :)..good luck!

I wonder how much is the FINAL TOTAL application fee for filing AOS, including these documents:

    i-485

    i-130

    i-131

    i-765

    i-864

    G523A

Today I called my attorney who handled my H-1B before. She told me to put $1365 without providing further details. (She is not handling my case. I am doing it on my own. Just called her to ask a few question. )

Based on my own research, I always got the impression the TOTAL fee is $1100.

    Thank you for sharing!

  6. Hi again.. Don't worry for the SSN if you are not ready to work yet.. But it would be good if you will get your SSN before you are going to fil the EAD for employment. On my case, I don't have SSN but still fine when I file EAD..they sent me the card for that..but I am not yet working because I need to fix all my AOS..On my interview last monday for AOS, they bother me about my SSN infact the officer suggested me to wait to file/get SSN once I will get the green card 30 days from now because it would be in ONE I mean it would be easy I think.. They took my EAD because my green card will soon arrive.. Good luck once again!

  7. Hi Lowe.. I read your post.. I am just concern of your Q.. Ok here it is. I would rather suggest you to wait the Original Marriage Cert. be sure it is registered at your Civil local registrar/County office because the USCIS will double check that kind of document as a proof that you are certified married. Just have a scan/photo copy of that Marraige certificate. But on your interview day please bring the original with you and your spouse and proofs of documents they ask you ok? I'm done on this..I just want to share with you how it went great! I did not send originals documents because it migh happen if there are cases they are going to transfer the case it might be lost or whatever..well atleast if this migh happen you all have your documents but bring it all on you interview day! Good luck!

  8. Hi DainandVicky,

I just want to share some of my experiences when I had my interview done. First & foremost let her have the copy & original letter from the US embassy for her not to hassle when the security guard will going to check then just to show it.Be there atleast 30 minutes before appoinment time & only ask to the on duty security guard where to fall in line / wait because there are distructing people/ fixers there to hassle the applicants. pls believe me for that * don't let her bring phones/ electronic devices or else they will be deposit with charge of P200 or so( I wan't charge of this because I have my brother who bring my phone). Anyway,Top of the documents they will ask are: Newly updated Filled up FORMS & prescribed 2-3 photo ID pasted on desginated box on the forms then the (ITR (Income Tax Return,Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statment,Affidavit of Support, letter of employment (statement that you are presently working & job title & wage) & Pay Stubs for 2 months, copy of your PASSPORT (entry & depature in the Philippines) pictures atleast 10-15 or so but be sure you let have the copies that you enclosed when you filed K1 petition for her ok? just put all the pictures in Ziplock bag of you together & family photos when you were there because they will look at them to sure that you guys have each copies (I only had copies/ scan sent by my fiance last time) DON'T let her bring the photo album coz it won't fit on the counter/ documents window for collection. Let her bring her own stick glue/paste,staple wire incase she needed it you know always be like a girl scout. You did the good job that you sent to her the signed letters of intent to marry, boarding passes, itinerary, hotel receipts, etc. She has copies of the NOA1 & 2 and she has proofs of your meeting & relations which is very good. So Let her keep the all originals documents with her in designated brown envelop/folder, only copy of each documents to be submitted to the officer assigned for her, they will going to ask the orginals just to check they will will return after checking them. I did this last time like.. I put all together my personal documents with label

in 1 envelop, 1 envelop of my petioner's documents, 1 envelop for emails particulary because our relationship starts with this( very frist emails & mostly from the month of filing date the K1 is on process until the interview emails/chats I included too), then chats/phone calls history, joint accounts(if ever she has) or Reciepts from Western Union/banks (if ever she has this). I had 1 big pouch to be safe for all each designated envelops of all photocopies and originals coz it would help to look for incase they ask one by one, well it helps it went organized & easy for me to pull out such documents ,my Fiance/husband was impressed for that lol.It helps to calm me down for excitement & nervousness surely! Please let her remember your arrival/.departure & how long you'd stayed, Birthday, when did you last met, & personal questions between you & her. Just prepare atleast P300 pesos for the visa delivery once it is approved they will notify you for that instructions. Just let her relax, just be her self * presence of mind for the Questions to be ask then. Mine went great & I was terried it made me cried after all, you know tears of joy I can't express on that time lol. So, Good luck & Happy New year! Hope this would help for you guys.

    Hi all!

Our case package has recently cleared NVC, according to the DHL website I believe it probably arrived in Manila at 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4.

I received the NVC letter today, Vicky already has a copy of the NOA2, so she's going to go for the medical asap, I'm going to try again tonight (their morning) to set her an appointment on the 888 number, last night they hadn't entered the package in their database yet.

Any comments/ advice/ experiences on interview? What questions did they ask? How was the interview experience? What documents did they ask to see? Vicky should have everything she needs paperwork-wise, my I-134, tons of proof of meeting and emails, chats, txt-to-emails, etc. I sent her everything I sent to USCIS in the I-129 package and then the I-134 besides, including both our signed letters of intent to marry, boarding passes, itinerary, hotel receipts, etc. She has copies of the NOA1 & 2.

She's sorting through our thousands of pages of emails and chats picking what she will bring to show we intend to stay married, have kids, etc. Any advice how many pages to print out?

Any advice? I've read they ask very few questions and the interview is pretty short, like 3 minutes. I'm very nervous, this is the last step (besides the POE interview), and I'm so excited for her to be here and to start our life together. I know it's likely to be approved but I can't help worrying about it, we're so close now and I just really want everything to go well.

Any tips or experiences or information will be appreciated! Thanks!

    Hope this would help!

    Dain
