Houston finally called us back.We had to go to oklahoma city to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection office.The officer there took her passport and I94 and corrected the date on them because it was dated for 6 months.Should have been dated for 90 days.We then followed him in our car to the USCIS office.He turned in our brown envelope and told us everything is good make sure we get married within 90 days and file the I485.It was an easy process just hope they dont make anymore mistakes.Thanks for the replies they helped guide us in the right direction to get this fixed.

Thanks for the replies.I called the cbp in Houston.The supervisor said theres a office here were I live.We can take it there.He said he needed to call them first and set it up.Hopefully he will call us back soon with the appointment.

Was she not taken into the Immigration office after the initial Point of immigration?

When my wife arrived, she was taken into the office and processed. This took about 30 minutes. The first immigration officer advised her that she was here on a K1 Visa and had 90 days to marry. SHe then was escorted to an office where she was questioned, and given the I-94. We also arrived in Houston.

I would call USCIS, this may save you a flight back to Houston for a 30 minute process. Many major cities have an immigration office so I would check this option first.

She was never taken into a office.It was just the officer in the booth.He took her finger prints and picture.He talked to her in tagalog ask her were she is going and when is the lucky day.He then stamped the passport and I94 and gave it back to her.She asked if everything was ok.He replied yes you are good thank you have a nice day.

My fiancee just arrived in Houston yesterday July 31 2010.As she was unpacking her things I noticed theres a big brown envelope in her things.I ask her about it and she said she went to the immigration and he stamped her passport and then handed it back to her.She asked him if everything was ok.He said yes everything is fine you are good thank you and have a nice day.So she proceeded to the connecting terminal and finished her trip.She said he never asked her about the sealed envelope or anything.So now here we are. We are both here together holding the sealed envelope.Can anyone please inform us of what we need to do?Can she be deported for this?How can we fix this issue?

My fiancee received her visa and sealed envelope from the embassy.It said on there 'Only to be opened by aerican authority at the POE'As you can see they misspelled American.I really think its ok and will not be a problem.My fiancee she is worried about the typo.Can anyone say for sure if this would be a problem for her at the POE which is Houston.Thank You

My fiancee and I canceled our 129f feb 09 now refiling.We received an A # with the withdraw letter from uscis.We included it for question 11 on the 129 f asking "if ever filed for this fiancee before if so include A# and result".Does this A # apply for question 8b part a and question 9 part b as well?Also Does this A# apply for the top and bottom corners of the 325 that says file #/ A#?Thanks,hope someone can clarify.

So question 11 on the 129f is refering to our past a # ok so is the question 8b and 9 on the 129f and on the 325 a also refering to the past number or is it there for our new filing number that will be assigned to us?

If you have it - might not be a bad idea to include a copy of the confirmation notice/letter from USCIS (confirming the withdraw). Not necessary (if you don't have it) but not a bad idea to include it if you do.

It was a general court martial with a bad conduct discharge.It is a felony.Can he still petition someone?Its not listed on the crimes on the I 129 f part c question 2 Its list domestic violence,sexual assult,child abuse and neglect,dating violence,elder abuse or stalking,homicide,murder,manslaughter,rape,abusive sexul contact,sexual exploitation,incest,torgue trfficking,peonage holding hostage,involuntary servitude, slave trade,kidnapping,abduction,unlawful criminal restraint,false imprisonment or an attempt to do any of these crimes, or 3 or more crimes relating to a controlled substance or alcohol not arising from a single act.Since his crime is not listed here does this mean hes ok?Is this all they consider for denial?

My buddy is thinking of pursuing a relationship with a filipino.Since Im in a relationship myself he was asking me questions for advice.He has a criminal record from the army he was charged with assualting a sergant, wrongfully communicating a threat, and resisting arrest.He was sentenced to 1 yr in confinement and discharged.That happen 10/2003 so its been a little over 5 years since it happen.Ive known him since highschool hes never been in trouble before that or since then.This was very out of character of him.I told him those charges wasnt metioned on the 129 f I filled out but I really am not sure.Will this affect him being denied?Would he be wasting his time to pursue a relationship?Thanks

This is ######. A month and a half ago I made enough ,and now I don't. I just spent like 2 grand to go to see my SO (So that we could get photo's to prove we have been together, letter of intent from her,etc). Now I am going to see her in 18 day's (And I have to explain to her that I am no longer eligable). I can't find a sponser for her. And I do not think I could find a job/survivie in her country. I am very upset. I don't know what to do. $300 is going to keep me from being witht the woman I love.................................any advice?

What about my truck (It's old 1994 Chevy) and my motorcycle (1982 Harley sportster). They are both old but at least worth $1,000 together. My problem with a bank account is (I have bad credit) so if I opened up a bank account it would most likley be frozen. :-(

Are you talking about a savings account or a checking account?Usually, unlike a checking account, you can open a savings account at a bank without them checking "checksystems", or whatever service they use. I would suggest going to a different bank from your current one going to new accounts and setting up a savings account. They usally require a minimum intinal deposit.You never know unless you try .

Chill out man!Ok, You can use any assests you have.You can also use your savings.So $313 short right?You will need 3 times that.So if you have at least $939 in your savings then you will be ok.Of course though the more the better so start saving.
