My drivers license expires the same day as my two year greencard. If I don't get my 10 year greencard before this one expires, should I just get a 1 year license with the extension letter?
Thanks

Fairly, you can start filing this within 90 days of 3 years of green-card status, if married to a US citizen the 3 years, or within 90 days of 5 years of green-card status if not married to a us citizen.
Similar documentation is used for naturalization as with removal of conditions, you will be interviewed, and given a test.
Thanks a lot

Thanks... Sorry still getting used to all this...

depends on your location.... some USCIS offices are not as backlogged... for a while it was 12-18 months but it appears they have gotten over that and could be 4-6 mos. in some places... longer in other places. Check the processing times for your local USCIS field office
Thanks a lot. I'll have a look at the link...
Is the process fairly simple? (assuming one has no incidents with the law and has not been absent from the country for long periods of time)

Hi all,
I have under a year until I'll be filing my greencard renewal (currently on a 2 year greencard).
I'm just wondering what the process is like? Can it be done through the mail, or does it require an interview/evidence as did the initial interview?
Thanks.

Hi all,
I still have some time left as a gc holder, but figure there is no harm in asking this...
How long is the naturalization process currently taking (application->citizenship)?
Thanks.
