  1. Hello all,

My husband came on an K1 in June, we got married and now are filing for AOS. We have a civil surgeon that is transcribing his vaccinations onto the I-693, my question is, does he need to do the TB test as well? He did not have one done in Argentina for his K1 medical. The doctor says for K1 he does not need it, is that because he is assuming he got one done in Argentina? Any comments would be helpful. Thank you!!

  2. Hello,

I tried to read every possible post about the Intend and Do not Intend question on the I-134 and I am still unsure of the right thing to do. Checking the box versus not checking and writing N/A...like in the example form.

Any thoughts from approved Vjers? Thank you...

Checking in, approved VJer here! I answered "If she is a good little wifey and washes the floors everyday"

LOL, not really. "NA (K-1 visa process for marriage and permanent residency)"

    Thank you all!!

    FOLLOW the example :)

That was my initial gut reaction and have the form all done like that and then I started to panic and read posts where people did all sorts of things and I started to second guess myself. So that is what you did correct? Thanks so much.

  4. Hi all,

I am in the process of sending my i-134 to my fiance in Argentina. I have a question about the tax returns. I am currently employed at a place where my income is well above the 125% poverty line and so i can solely support my fiance. But do I need to send in the tax returns for 2007 as well? I am sending in 2008. The problem with 2007 is I only worked half the year (spent the other half in argentina with my hunny) and my income was just at the 125% poverty level. Will showing this 2007 tax returns hurt us? I am now making more money obviously, but I wasn't in 2007! Please advise! Thanks!

Unless consulate specific, one year tax return (most recent) is sufficient. They go by current income first. If your current income and your 2008 income is sufficient, no worries, whether or not you submit the 2007 return.

Thank you both for your replies! My gut was to just send 2008 returns, letter of employment, and pay stubs. IF consulate requests more information then I will have it handy. This process is just so anxiety-ridden. I told me fiance after this is all done we deserve a nobel prize in endurance and persistence.

  7. Congratulations go to the two very lucky couples who now move on to the next step!!!

    Thank you!!!!!

FYI: I was not touched since 12/06/08. I was checking every day like twice or three times a day....Then I logged in today at like 11:45am and it said it was touched on 3/25/09. Then like 5 minutes later I got the email from CRIS. I have not gotten the hard copy yet.

    December is rolling in.... :)

  8. I am doing the same thing checking USCIS website everyday :).

I am actually surprised, we just changed our password at uscis website yesterday with my fiance then now when i checked it, wow it was already approved. Thank GOD. My fiance still on his way back there in US and for sure he will be shocked if I will tell him that we are already approved.

Congratulations to all those who have been approved!!

I have been reading this forum for a while now. It feels so great to have companions throughout this process. I am also waiting every day and hoping, my NOA 1 was on 12/03/03/08.

Sending positive energy to you all!!!!
