  1. We haven't as yet. We filed Sept 1st '08. Received NOA1 Sept 11 '08.

But, Can anyone tell me why the consulate is listed as Armenia and not Guangzhou? I would have expected Guangzhou, but I am new at this.

You need to edit your timeline. Maybe when you set up your timeline it accidentally scrolled to another consulate when you scrolled down the page? If you go here http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/ and click on Edit/Add my Entry under Timeline Fuctions you'll be able to change it.

thanks for your help. i just updated

  6. According to their website they are working on petitions from March 2008.

Well actually, according to their website, as of *SEPTEMBER 30, 2008* they were working on petitions from March 2008. They don't really update their information frequently (unless you are using the age of the earth as a reference!).

From the timelines posted on VJ, it seems they are working on August and starting on September, but as always, your mileage may vary, and USCIS may or may not leave any given application in the box until last....

    Dave

Hence I added the data above.

Thanks dave...hopefully we get some good news coming!

  7. Dear VJers:

My K1 petition at VSC was approved today  . Got an automated email from CRIS. Really excited  . My NOA1 date was Sep 12, 2008. Good news for all Aug/Sep filers. You all should see your approvals soon, too I hope.

Could not have gone through process without this community. My sincere and heartfelt thanks to all for your support and encouragement. Excited. Don't even know what the next steps are. The good news is still sinking in as I write this. Have updated my timeline.

    Cheers,

Congrats man! that's awesome! good way to bring in the new yr.

i filed my 129f at VSC. it was received 09-15-08. Still waiting to hear about the NOA2.

  8. Hi, by looking at the July approvals, I don't see much of a difference on the time frame. A few days difference between the approvals. I think it also has to do between the NOA1 notice date and the NOA2 approval date. For instance I sent my I-129F next day delivery and I got my NOA1 notice day two days after I sent it. Some people send it regular mail, so it takes a few extra days for them. In my opinion to see the average we have to start counting from the NOA1 notice date. It seems to be around 120 days.

Yeah I was looking at the average too :) Thanks for the advice though! How is everyone else holding up? Any news or ideas?? Stories :) ??

    hey man,

i filed mine and it was received 9.15.08...still waiting on the NOA2.

    happy new yr!

keep me posted if you guys hear back

  9. We filed in early August and recieved our NOA1 on the 14th August. Everybody else in our filing timeframe seems to have updates, RFEs, or 'touches'. We've had nothing. After 138 days, is this cause to be concerned? I know my estimated NOA2 date is a few weeks away, but it seems so weird that so many other people have at least one touch by now, when we've had nothing. I'm scared they've misplaced our file or something.

Is it normal to have no 'touches' for the entire wait?

    Excuse my paranoia

i just looked at your timeline and under your comment section it says "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between January 12, 2009 and January 24, 2009"...that is good news. only a few more weeks if that is the case!

where did you get that information from in your comment section?

    happy new yr!

  10. Happy New Year everyone!

NOA1 was received at the Vermont Service Center 9/15/08.

Have NOT had any touches since.

I called USCIS and they were not able to provide much clarity or specifics on when I will receive my NOA2.

Anyone else in a similar situation in regards to the filing dates?

Any estimates on when I may hear back with the NOA2?

I've waited a little over 3 months, I'm just worried that USCIS will request a RFE...and that will push back the processing time even more...

If the USCIS does request a RFE approx how long will this delay the processing time? What sort of RFE do they usually request for?

After browsing a handful of posts, I've come across people with very fast turnaround times for the NOA2 to very slow ones.

    Any thoughts, feedback, and responses?

    Thanks
