We got the production of new card ordered e-mail the other day, but I'm confused... will there be another NOA, or just the production e-mail signifies approval?

There will be another NOA approval letter, stating date of decision, you have been approved and should receive new card within 60 days.

Got email today, EAD approved on December 9. And we are not going to have to have the interview on Dec 20.

My husband had to leave the country(Guam) last week for his job until Feb and wont be back here but go to San Diego, we made an infopass to ask if we could change a date or I could come to interview by myself. But they could not change and wanted us both for the interview. So we asked if we could have the interview in San Diego and they said it can be, we just have to call or email them here once we get the address in San Diego and they will process our case because our files are here already.

I filed for wife and daughters k1 and k2 visa with a previous adress. We are now filing for their AOS this coming Monday with our new adress. Do I still need to contact them regarding the different adress than when we file the k1 and k2 even though all our AOS docs we are sending them have our new adress?

We file with the new address too and no problem, you will need to provide the address in a cover letter. Good luck

Your problem may be at the post office & not USCIS. Make sure USPS has your name associated with the delivery address. Make the name of the immigrant is inside the mail box.

You can update your address with USCIS on line, by phone, by mail or in person. After a disaster in trying to get my daughters documents I did all 4. The day I went to USCIS office I was told it would take 60 days to get her docs again. They arrived the next day!

Thank you. I reached a woman and did update my mailing address on the phone and she sent a request to the USCIS office to resend the notice. I use P.O. BOX and the problem was they have a wrong city on filed.

I am not quite understanding why you are having problems getting someone on the phone. I kinda told you how to go about it. It has worked every time I have called. You have to get to the menu choice #6 where it says you lost or don't know your receipt #. Then you will have additional recordings, but if you stay on the line, they will pick up. A recording even comes on telling you your approx hold time. I just tried it again. It works fine that way,

You can call and speak with a HUMAN... I was able to get thru to a human about 45 min ago when I called with my Aunt on the line.

I never changed the address and got NOAs fine with the address so I dont know why it undeliverable. Do you have any thick to get a human on the phone? I tried so many times and still got recorded. I was thinking if I cant get a human on the phone I will change the address online but use the same address.

I don't have advise on your case, but there is a way to reach a human at USCIS. You have to get to the menu choice asking about your receipt number, and press 6, that you don't know it, or lost it. I think the sequence is this:

1 -for English, 2-for questions on an existing case, and 6-if you lost or don't know your receipt number. You may have to wait awhile, but they will answer. A recording will tell you how long you have to wait. I am not sure if I missed a number choice to press, but you can listen to the menu items and get to the right choice to press 6.

Hi everyone

I got the email "On November 4, 2010, the post office returned the notice we last sent you on this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS as undeliverable. This may have serious effects on processing this case. Please call 1-800-375-5283 to update your mailing address for this notice to be re-sent." and the same email for the APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION.

I know they were biometrics appointment and I tried to call the 1800 # but cant get the people on the phone, so how can I update or verify my address if I cant get the people through the number? Anyone have an advise for this case?

Dont worry and wait for a few more days! Mine sent out on the 29 of Sept and they received on the 1, check cashed on the 13 and got NOA on the 14.

My check is not cashed yet. It is drawn on a small bank here in Washington State. In the documents I think I read the check would be cashed via electronic scan and not returned to the bank. Did the actual check clear your bank?

On K-1 this is how I got my first receipt number.

Check has been cleared, actually on the check has receipt number(MSCxxxxxxxxxx)and date on(100810) but I did not get text or email. Now Im waiting for Noa.

Hello there,

I am entered to Guam immigration with K1 visa and everything went fine. Now I am applying for AOS and using the address in Guam but not sure about the address to send the packet to. I read the instruction and understand that K1/K2 have to send to Chicago lockbox but some people say if I live in Guam I should send to Phoenix lockbox and some say send to the CIS here in Guam. Does anyone know where exactly should I send the packet to?
