Received the hardcopy of our NOA2 in the mail this morning!! I do have a question: the notice states that it is valid from 10/24/2011 until 2/23/2012. Does that mean my Bayram will be here BEFORE the end of February? Or, Does it mean he will have his interview before that date?...and I had hoped for more information regarding what the next steps are for me...it's all my brain can think about!

  It means it's valid for those dates (noa2) - the embassy will try to interview/process before it expires. However - they can extend it as they see fit.

Is it safe for my son to have his medical even if he still has some cough and colds? Please advise...

  They may ask for him to be checked at a later time, as the symptoms can mask problems/interfere with the exam. I would check with the place your going to for the exam.

  not an issue - your status is "frozen" until the 485 is processed.
