Uh oh..............I had no idea that you had to fill in the A number on the I-485........I never even paid attention to the number on the NOA2. I know its going to pose a problem..........will it pose a big problem? This process has been a nightmare so far...........I hope it gets better. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

My darling Janice will have her interview on September 4th at 6:30 am *yawn so she will spend the night down there with her mother and family friend. I was also told by the phone number to the embassy that she needs to go to Gate 2.

my fiancee has his interview in manila sept 25th..he is 13 years younger than me.. we have alot of evidence to prove our bonifide relationships...just have a positive outlook im sure it will be fine..dats all we are doing is keeping our faith and praying..just make sure u have everything together and anser the questions truthfully..

I am 17 yr elder than my husband, We both have divorced status previously and our petition has now been approved and now the case is at the embassy and any time my husband be called for interview. I am eager to know if this age difference can be an issue while interviewing there or anything else to be considered in mind before appearing for interview in embassy?

Keith and Else - Congrats on the approval. I recommend going to the site below for next steps. For RP, I believe you can complete the medical examination now as long as you have the email copy of the NOA2. Would also send the needed papers now in order to allow for sending time.

KataAndFreddy - I'm sorry to hear about the RFE, but at least you know they're looking at your petition. From what I have read, calling might not yield any results, but if it was me, I'd probably give it a try (nothing ventured, nothing gained). Hope it gets resolved soon.

Linda - I'm glad you're keeping the faith. With a "never give up" attitude, you are destined for success. When you stop and think about it, the really hard part was finding the right person. Now it's all just paperwork (and patience).

hello everyone im a march filler also and we recieved our noa1 on march 3,2009 and for a long wait GOD is good all the time our noa2 approved this august 3,2009 via email...............thank you GOD .............now can i asked some help what to do next so that i can prepared.

Thanks everybody for the information. I guess I'll just sit here and be patient. Hopefully we'll hear something here in a week or two. I haven't posted much here, but, this is a great site and I thank everybody for the support. As they say down south, y'all are great.

Cut myself off on that last reply. Again, congrats to all the filers who have had their paperwork approved. Like I said, I'm not one of them. My NOA1 date is 03/02/09. I'm starting to get a little concerned. The paperwork has only been "touched" once, on 03/05/09. Is that normal? Should I continue to be patient or consider calling the USCIS customer service line to find out the status. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

I know this is a little late.............but we filed our paperwork in March 2009 and received our NOA1 on March 3rd. Like everyone else I'm hoping and praying that we hear something very soon. We're real close to the 100 day mark and it looks like the average wait has been around 100 to 120 days. I sure hope I'm right. Good luck to everybody in their Visa Journey.
