How are you guys? hope all is swell, i just recieved the letter of Notice of Action. Now what do i wait until they reach My fiance in Bogota Colombia in a few weeks or months letting her know from her consulate when the date for her interview is ??

yes, they will send you a letter a NOA (notice of action) saying that they recieved the k1, you will get a case number with that letter that you will be able to check online. I did a k1 for my husband last year, and he is already here, married to me, and we are doing AOS, its the fastest process if you ask me. Good luck with everything.

whats the AOS..........ive heard of this but i forgot what it is..........

Sent out the k 1 visa yesterday, do i wait til i get notification from USCIS or what ?

So do i NOT wirte "U.S Homeland Security" and just write

And do I also adress it as : U.S. Homeland Security then placing the Vermont address ?

what if i already made copies of ORIGINAL evidence FOR BOTH packets ??? and i want to keep original...

HEY guys...

I need the REAL info.....when i prepare the two packets (uscis) and exact copy for my fiancee...... the two document forms of 1 i29 and g 325a can be original only for the packet for my fiancee, and for ucsis the downloaded forms from the site?

Please give me the correct procedure....... I have 4 original g325a forms ready (2 for me 2 for her) for both packets....but i hear that my fiancee gets only originals??

Hello to all, has anyone here have had good excuses to escape work for a month or more and you employer not bothering you about it ?? I need some info or help if you guys know any excuses or have had similiar scenarios on getting that time.

You see i already used the Leave of absence for two months last year..and I know that wont fly again..My empoyer allows two weeks, im thinking i could tell them i have to see my fiance for we have a k1 interview and i have to be there ...and not only that but i have to be there two weeks before the date so we can travel through bogota and other to get documents and talk to lawyer...then id have to stay for atleast 5 to 7 days to get response after interview to see if they accept...then do more traveling so i can finalize the visa process so she can come here in the future....

I think it could work...i dont think my manager would ask much...but then again he might ask for some sort of paper work...would i be able to get a false document of somesort..??

Or can anyone throw out an idea that has worked for them to escape work???

ANYONE??? lol PLEASE ... i want to see my fiance and really spend more than less than two weeks with her...............we need time together after a long six seven months..

im almost certain that her birthcertificate has to be with the petition.....or am i wrong?

DO i have to have her birth certificate from colombia translated into english ..or can i just copy it and send that original copy to USCIS...........??

Thank alot guys, thanks for responding with your personal experiences and info.... I appreciate it. This paperwork is driving me crazy, between two jobs and the gym and about twenty thousand copies of all my evidence...i wonder how heavy my package is going to be...

What about on HER COPY of the fiance visa...They say you have to send your fiance a exact replica of the one you send to USCIS.... SoOOO does this mean i have to label the fotos, and write down, highlight exactly the same way i do on the ORIGINAL package..or do i just send her the same thing but without all my handwritten examples and hightlights and labeling ???

I have photographs of us together and family..alot ...think over a 100.... i have them dated on back with our names and the place of that particular picture...some pics already have the date on the front ... from the camera

is this also productive in the process ??

On the proof on the relationship, i have plenty of emails, reciepts of plane tickets, messenger conversations and cards we wrote to one another with the dates....

Now my question is...in preparing all this paperwork evidence, can i jot down somewhere on the sheet and highlight a specific point of interest...or can i put a post it note and jot down what i need to clarify to whom it may concern...

Like if i wanted to highlight the use of my check card and my fiance's use of her check card on the same day at same store... but there is soo any other distractions on the page,,,where can i write and jot something down to show what i need to show.... write it down on that same exact spot on the page...? or use like a post it note ?

Hello to all

Hope everyone is having a wonderful pre Christmas week, and having great spirits. New to this website, wondering if anyone has an outline of the proper info, paperwork needed to complete my K 129 visa. I have still to print out som pics for evidence of a 2 year relationship, still narrowing down emails to print out, conversations through messenger and plane reciepts. My fiance and I took the passport type fotos, so i have that. I have copies of my fiance's and My passports and trips to and from Colombia and USA. Which paperwork is exactly needed...the PEtition, Biographic and what else? I have typed up a great letter of our existing relationship for the response of question 18 on how we met.

Please anyone can guide me that has had thier Fiance visa approved from Colombia..on the proper paperwork and how to assemble the packet.....any info would be appreciate
