  1. I've just got off the phone with the USCIS helpline, which didn't tell me anything new apart from that Seattle's current processing time is Mar 29 2008, so I'm within the timeline.

Will InfoPass do me any good here, and if so which option for a reason do I pick - the website gives me these options, none of which exactly apply:

Order from Immigration Court - If you were directed to us for processing based on an order from the Immigration Judge. You must bring all documents required in the post order instructions given to you by the court.

Case Processing Appointment - If you received a notice to go to your local office for further case processing.

EAD inquiry appointment - If your I-765 employment authorization application has been pending for more than 90 days.

Case Services follow-up appointment - If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry.

Am I just being impatient? :)

  2. Hi,

Some background on AOS. I'm a naturalized USC, I'm sponsoring my wife who is in the US with a F1 student visa.

    I have some questions:

On form I-485, on part 1 it ask "Current USCIS Status" what am I supposed to put there?

Also in form I-485; I'm sending the I-485 with I-130, in "Part 2" application type what box should I check?

Also should I send the duplicate marriage certificate that they give you that the registry or make a copy and send that?

Do I have to get the I-864 Affidavit of Support, letters form employers or affidavit from third party need to be notarized? (I heard any affidavit need to be) If so do I send a copy or original?

I think last question; being a naturalized USC in any form that asks for a alien registration number, do I need to write no all A number or just N/A?

    Thank you in advance.

1.) Current USCIS Status: F1 Visa

2.) Select Other, Response: Filing Concurrently with an immigrant visa giving me an immediatly available immigrant visa

3.) Copies are fine. If they need to compare the copy with the original they will request that you bring the original to the interview.

4.) You are not required to have letters from employers or affidavits notarized.

5.) Im not possitive on this question, I would assume N/A since the alien number does not apply to a naturalized citizen and none would be more if you have never had an alien number.

    Hope this helps! :)
