From what my parents told me, the consulate wants the tax return to be sent to them directly from IRS. NOT from me. Does it sound normal?

Haven't seen the blue refusal sheet yet.

Hope my parents actually misunderstood it.

Because on the consulate web, they also say the blue refusal sheet needds to be included when the extra documents are submitted.

So I need to send the blue sheet to IRS and let IRS send that sheet along with the tax transcripts to the consulate???

That doesn't sound right.

I'm really confused.....

Is your wife's application still under AP?

When you originally submitted documents, did you include the tax transcripts for the last three years? Or just the photocopies of your tax forms?

This is such a pain. However, there is nothing we can do besides sending whatever they want and keeping waiting....

My parents did their interview in guangzhou , china yesterday. After the interview, they were told the consulate needs the IRS to send the tax return (NOT sure it's transcript or copy of tax return, haven't seen the notice yet) directly to the consulate. This sounds rediculous! I'm the only petitioner and I included the photocopy of the past 3 years of our joint federal tax return for both my mom and my dad. why they need the tax forms to be mailed directly from IRS? I also included I864A but the interviewer didn't even ask for it.

Just checked the IRS website, requesting the copy of tax return (NOT the transcript, transcript is usually faster to request) can take up to 60 days, plus whatever time the consulate needs to check (usually 2 ~ 3 months), this is going to take forever!!

Does anyone have the same experience? Or does anyone know if the transcript is going to work?

We did our tax return ourselves, and all the numbers in teh tax form are hand written. Maybe the interviewer was having questions about those numbers? That's the only reason I can think of.

Hi guys,

I emailed the DS-3032 to NVC 4 weeks ago, and paid both AOS and IV fees already. I also mailed I864 2 weeks ago. In my account, the status of AOS and IV both showed PAID.

But my parents (in China) just received the DS-3032 in mail from NVC yesterday. I'm pretty sure the DS-3032 (via my email) is already in the system. Can I just ignored that letter? Or they have to fill out and send that back to NVC?

The other question is I'm going to fill out DS-230 for my parents. But there is no place for the petetioner to sign. Do I need to send back the form after I finish it and let them sign it? That's quite a lot work of going back and forth...

Hi,

I'm the petitioner for both of my parents.

I paid $70 (NOT $140) online and today both of their cases' status turned to PAID.

But, when I printed out the document cover sheet by logging in using each parent's own case # and invoice ID, why it only shows my dad's name and case # even though I logged in using my mom's case # and invoice ID?

Should I pay $70 x 2??

2) the link you included in your reply about the DS3032 template is not working. When i clicked, it said the file has

been removed....Where can i find the template? Do i need to send this DS3032 to NVC by email OR I can use the pdf from DOS website and send it through mail?

Hi,

I received NOA2 (I-130 approved) notice in mail on March 4th, 2010.

The letter said the case has already been transferred to NVC and NVC will contact the person I'm petetioning for which are my parents.

But I thought I would be the one who will receive and take care of all the paper documents.

So after the I-130 is approved, who will NVC contact?

We did file AR-11 and I 865 already. Thanks.

So I'm guessing what's going to happen is we will receive a letter from VSC saying our case is transferred to CSC when VSC starts processing our application. Then we will have to wait CSC to process I 751.

It's just taking too long...

We filed I751 in Jan 08 to VSC. Then moved to LA in March 08. Just checked case status online, VSC is still processing Dec 07 applications.

We called a few times and they told us nothing is going to happen until one year after we filed I751. My question is which center is going to process our application? VSC or CSC? A case like this, is it going to get big delay 'cause we moved during the process?
