I am soo happy our EAD and AP were approved and the bio was short and quick. Now I'm hoping the AOS will be the same. Grateful and happy and hoping the same for everyone else.

I think this is the 2nd AOS August 2009 filers I have entered....anyways...I happy to be a part of it and my sincere well wishes to all.

Quick question though...I've updated all my files here to show I am now filing for AOS however, it still shows I am filing for K1...how can I update that? Thanks.

We laugh at the POE officer who told us when to get married.....we laugh at some of the questions on the various immigration forms.....we laugh when I respond in English and some people still ask if I speak English......we laugh at most of the immigration process because it is our way of letting go and living. We love to laugh...together

hello everyone.. havn't visited this site for awhile since there was no need to update anything..

I am still waiting for my police certificate to reach LONDON.. now its 5 months!!! My fiance sent out the checklist on june 26th.. he found out that the embassy recieved it on the 30th. We are still waiting for our interview date!! How long does it take them to reply?? And does the embassy give the interview date a month from the date u send it or a month from when u receive the letter stating ur interview date??? this whole process keeps lingering on and on...ahgffffffffffffffff....

we called the embassy like 1.5 months ago to ask if they want the documents with the checklist becoz when i read visa journey it only said ppl were sending in jus the checklist...so someone from embassy said they need all the documents..so we were waiting for the police certificate..it took so long so we decided call the embassy up and ask..is it possible to send the checklist and the forms first. They had said send in all the documents or the process might take longer. So we wait again..and call a week after to have some lady tell us no they dont want any documents sent, they jus want the checklist and forms!!!!!!!!!!!! i get soooooooo upset....do those ppl know what they are talking about?? so now we sent the stuff and havn't heard from them yet!!! .... i want him to be here by first week of august..i dont know if that'll happen anymore . ..

Let me know guys if you guys have any input on these things...

Our experience has been that package 3 is a confirmation of checklist (items) you should have in your possession ready for your embassy interview ....this checklist needs to be returned to the interviewing embassy....then within a copuple of days we received package 4 which is simply the interview date...hope that helps...you may also want to keep calling and checking as your visa petition may have expired (only valid for 5 months from approval/NOA2). All the best.

I spoke to Chris this morning, our lawyer has put together our case and on Thursday submitted it to the court people. Hopefully it will only take a couple of weeks to get it in front of a Judge.

Yay finally I feel like we might be progressing forwards....

We sincerely hope that things moves fast forward for you guys.

Definitely hubby is a sports fan...especially football.

It's soo bad I have to check with the sports schedule before we do/plan anything! .....kidding about this.

Just handed in my resignation letter ......receiving many objections amidst tears...from co workers and bosses alike. They all wish me well but vow to work me hard until the good bye party.

I think everyone here is basically saying the same thing.....that a dismissed charged will not harm your case. However, to disclose such information is a plus but I still do not think it necessary...please correct me if I am wrong but I do not recall there being any questions concerning....whether or not you were charge...but on the other hand I do recalled they asked one to declare convictions. The reality of it all is that I believe there are individuals whose petitions were approved and visas granted etc...who were charged not convicted with more or less than my fellow VJ member.

I totally agree with Try W. You should have nothing to worry about relative to a 'dismissed charge'.

Hi....can anyone assist us with posting a list of documents neded for school (public/private) enrollment in the USA (Kentucky). The school year in my country is ending and we need to have all that is required come the opening of school. ...thanks for any help we can get.
