  4. Hello All.

I got married in January of 2007 and got my Conditional Green Card in June but my wife and I are not living together since October 2007. The reason is because she when abroad to complete a school program to graduate from college and she had to stay away for 9 months; at that time we stayed in contact but i have no much proof of that since she called from public phones also we used to chat online a lot, after she completed school and graduated she came back in June of 2008 and stay for three months during the summer and left again for another program so she has been gone since September of 2008 until now, also she is planning to stay for one year since she got a Government contract job for that country.

Now that I have to apply to get my conditions removal, I'm afraid to get denied since we haven't spent the majority of our marriage together

Here is the list of documents I have

    Our Bank statement

    Apartment Lease

    lots of pictures

If anyone here have some advise Will be Deeply Appreciated

    thank you so much

Hi there!(geesh, I haven't posted here in long time).Just gather plenty of evidence and Your wife has a good reason why she had to be away so do not worry to much and you are the one who will be filing the I-751 anyway and she is willing to sign the petition and you will be filing jointly you will be ok.Your evidence seems too light you need more than that.Add joint health insurance, life insurance, car insurance, joint utility bills, state id/drivers license showing same home residence, letters addressed to both of you, affidavits from your friends and relatives, magazine subscriptions etc in joint names.Goodluck to you.

  5. The water bill and power bill are not in joint names, so I would n't include them. I would just include evidence that supports joint financial information. I am a firm believer that 'noise' could cause confusion. which is why I only sent 39 pages!

2008 tax would only need including after april 15th which is the end of filing date.

I did n't include affidavits, but a sworn statement about you being a bonafide couple should be taken as such, and be totally independant on where the signer was born.

    hi,

I'll be sending mine very soon and my concern is that my name is not on our mortgage and utilities since my husband bought the house before we met and we didn't bother to change it or adding my name to the accounts.I will not send mortgage document but what about utility bills my name is not on it I don't know if I will submit some upon reading this topic .I can't provide any affidavits since we don't have friends here yet and our families were far from us.would appreciate any advise/suggestions.thanks a bunch!

my documents to submit as evidence..

    joint taxes

    joint bank accounts

    joint car insurance

    joint health insurance forms/cards

    Birth certificate of our child

    401k me as the beneficiary

    trip itineraries

    photos

    letters/cards

    envelopes showing same home address

utility bills (I don't know if I will submit since its not joint) should I?

    Thats all..

  6. Hello,

I haven't posted here in a while. My green card will expire in april and need to submit my I-751 soon.My dear husband owned the house before our marriage and all of our bills were under his name and we didn't really know that something like this would be needed like submitting joint mortgage/lease and if we will do it like adding my name to the mortgage it would require refinancing which is a big no for him anyway. So guys, anyone here who got approved without it?I want to avoid RFE.Would appreciate any inputs.thanks.

    We have the following...

    -joint taxes

    -joint health insurance

    -joint car insurance

-401k showing me as the beneficiary

    -letters/cards

    -photos

  7. Hi to all!

I just have a question for those who were done or just about to submit their I-751, will I get an RFE if I will not be able to submit affidavits? Its kinda hard for us to get one honestly because we just moved to a new place and we don't know anybody yet in our area and both sides of our families were in other states. We have joint taxes federal/state,joint health insurance, joint car insurance, joint credit card accts.joint bank accts.,Birth certificate of our son,,401k of my hubby listed me as beneficiary,letters/cards from family and friends from other states and Phone invoices showing both names some pics and trip itineraries.Would really appreciate any help/advise.

    Thank you,

  8. Hi to all!

I am preparing my documents for the removal on the conditions on my residency.I wonder if you can help me guys.I dont have a middle name. This is my problem. In Philippines,we usually put our mother's maiden surname if asked about middle name right, that is what we usually do but here in US,its different people usually have middle names so when I got married I changed my last name to my husband's and using my maiden surname as my middle name.Part 4 of I-751 it says put "other names used"what do I put in there?Example,my maiden name is LUISA SORIANO BANDOY(SORIANO is my mother's maiden surname)I put BANDOY in part 1 as my middle name sinced I did it too when I applied for adjustment of status.Should I put it like this in part 4 LUISA SORIANO BANDOY?or LUISA BANDOY?Please need some advise don't want to make mistake. :(

    thanks,
