There are people on the November Cali thread being touched and approved.

Im going to have to stop going over there. I was ok with the wait period till i saw how fast the approvals and touches are happening in the other centre

Okay, my moan is over. I am chill and zen and calm and all that jazz.

I think the reason why they seem to be so far ahead is due to the sudden spike in the number of people who filed their applications in Aug.

Based on the info on igors list, the vermont centre received 195 applications, and the californian centre received only 87.

Thanks, BL2B! It's so tough!!! I just contacted my local Congresswoman in hopes of getting some clarification. Being apart for an extended period is tough and straining enough; when you add USCIS's lack of transparency and their decision to not update their processing time information page since SEPTEMBER 08, I could go completely gray by the time we're adjudicated!!

But thanks for the well-wishes! It does go a long way to have all this support!

i filed my application on the first of december and got my NO1 on the 5th, so I'd be ranked somewhere around the 400 region :/

Hi guys,

I've only just found out that it is possible to apply for a AOS while visiting with a VWP, and i'm feeling kind of confused right now.

I met my now fiancee in 07, and I've since travelled to the US a few times using the VWP. We filed for the K1 visa a few weeks ago, which means I'll probably have to wait til april or may to finally be able to join her again. Would it be a sensible thing to do for me to go back to see her again but this time get married and apply for the AOS. The fact that I have to register for NSEERS just makes things a hell of alot more complicated.

I'd appreciate any advice.
