If you are finincially stable, consult lawyer.
If you guys are officially divorced then you have to file I-751 again with the help of lawyer. My friend has gone through the same, but his wife not helped at all. He spent $5000 on it.
You will also need support from friends and family to write you affidavits mentioning that you guys entered in marriage with good faith and didn't work it. also got letters from therapist that you guys went there to work out your relationsship which will be also good evidence. Also get evidences of joint responsibilities in the past like bills, credit card statements, bank statements (joint only), lease etc.
collect all this things and consult lawyer.

Dear forum support, I know you guys are here to support and give good advise from personal experiences.
Here is my case:
I came to the US on marriage based visa in 2006. Lived with spouse and in-laws since then to Mid 08. Since then moved out and living on our own.
Applied for condition removal and now got letter than they need more evidence and documents.
Now I got all evidences except couple of affidavits. Now here comes the problem: Since 2-3 months our relationships are bitter due to many reason. career, family involvement etc. Dont wanna go into details as I know that I entered in marriage in good faith and now things are getting worse.
Now most of you know that USCIS want applicant to write little bit of biography of marriage and events till now. We are still together and trying to work out this relationship, but things are worse and going down the drain. Now I want to know that should I write these marriage problems in detail or not??
About affidavits: I can get couple of people who knows both of us since we got married, and they can write that this marriage is bonafied not fake marriage. But should they put relationship problems issues in affidavit if they are aware of it?
Again there are chances if I give details about relationship issues and USCIS decide to do interview and during interview my spouse tell them in revenge that marriage is fake then what?? I know she can get into trouble to support such marriage but I loose my GC too.

Hello everyone,
I came to the US in April 06, our marriage was arranged but not to cheat immigration laws. Our marriage always have been ups and downs. there was only period of six months when our marriage went ok after that struggle to achieve success in my career of medicine and family factors ruines our marriage life.
On top of everything my wife's angry and bi-polar kind of mood always takes the #### out of me. We filed jointly for conditions on GC in Feb 18 and now it has been almost 9 months since my bio-metrics has been done. (my file was transferred to Vermont Service Center). Meanwhile we moved to other place and I have never seen her wild behavior in my life. She was expecting me to earn money and I did, paid all half of bills and also paid my personal expenses and I was sort of money so I asked her to give me money, she did. Now she hated me whatever I do even though there is nothing wrong with it. Everything about me annoys her-like right now I have terrible cough and in the morning my head is bursting due to headache and throat full of cough and I am clearning my throat and she started to yelling that every morning I make terrible noises. (I expect any partner to ask his/her partner when other is sick to take medicines or see doctor). I mean so many of these little things have made our lives miserable together. I tried to convenience her to get counselor help so many times but she is like counseling is bullshit. She is like she has no time. She made appointments for opthalmologist to get free glasses, to remove her wisdom teeth and done them all but no time for her painful life.!! I am like so why the hell I am trying to work it out. Worst come worst I will be on the road right after the end of this marriage. I have guts to raise myself from scratch as long as I am legal in the US. My parents back in India always there for me, but they cannot do anything for legal matters.
Now back to the point, I have made it so far and given my final shots to work this marriage out, but personally I feel that now I should and must get out of this relationship. But again, here comes my condition removal. I tried to send as many as documents as possible to prove our living together and to prove marriage was not fake. My file submitted on VSC on Feb 18, 08, bio-metrics on Mar 20, 08. I see from forums that it takes 10 months from bio-metrics to get the GC. It has been 9 months and now I dont want to make any decisions in hurry. I was thinking to report our relationships to USCIS in written that relationships are not stable right now. But I want to get opinions from this reliable visajourney experiences.
So should I report this problems to USCIS?? I have not received any request for interview or request for more evidences on today date Dec 24. 10 months is going to end on Jan 20.

go to USCIS website and there are helplines for spouse's abuuse, mental and physical. He is giving your friend threat to remove her from the US. Call and report that activities.

I am asking this question as I am going through the tough time of my marriage life. Entered in marriage with good faith in 2005 came to US on Conditional Resident in 2006. Applied to remove condition in Feb 2008 and now waiting to get that file processed which filed jointly.
Meanwhile my career is not on good track and also some problems in marriage life and family has disrupted our marriage life; I am trying hard to save my marriage, pursuading spouse to get counselor help for us as i am not earning; but it is not working out. There are not physical relationships between us since 6 months. My spouse cant stand against me, no romance, no healthty talk, nothing. If this is going to remain the same then I want to quit after giving final trial to work this out.
But again, I entered in marriage in good faith, so I still expect that I become permanent resident and then Citizen when I am eligible after 5 years. But I have heard that if you get divorced after you get your permanent resident card (filed jointly) and apply for citizen at 5 years and you will be asked questions regarding how did you get PR card and there might be revokation of your current PR and eventual deportation if u dont have documentation of good faith marriage.
What would you recommend for this?
