I am interested to know if anyone can recommend a health insurance plan for my fiance. My job does not cover dependents and i want my lady to be covered when she arrives. Are there any types of health plans for new fiance arrivals? My wife to be does plan on working after she gets a work permit, so I would probably only need it for 1 year and for emergency purposes. Are there any websites to check out? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

We are on the same boat. I also sent a cancellation letter to USCIS, but until now there is no feed back from them. I am worry now, I might get approved also. Hope they will do something regarding to the cancellation letter i sent them last December2008. When did you sent your cancellation letter?

I am happy for you, that you already pass this trial in your life. We are almost the same, but mine is still on the earlier stage. It still with the USCIS until now, we had only the NOA1 and no NOA2 yet. But I decided to cancell it, since my ex-fiance is not treating me well, I sent a cancellation letter last december 2008, and until now, i dont have the feed back from the USCIS, hoping they will grant my letter, since no NOA2 yet. The uscis got my cancellation letter for my K1 application, dated december 22, 2008. (based on the courrier). Are they going to send me mail that they received my cancellation letter? I keep on looking the status of my case online and still said that the CASE RECEIVED AND PENDING. I am the beneficiary. Any info will be appreciated. Thank you.

She will have to explain but it might help showing she did inform the USCIS/Consulate about her past relationship status and her not wanting to go ahead with the K1 process as there is no more requirement. It helps to keep your paperwork and intentions straight.

Petitioners can withdraw petitions. Beneficiaries cannot. You may apply for the H-2 visa as you wish but have a much better chance of success after the petition is withdrawn.

Thank you to you its help for me what to do .. but I worried if I ask to the petitioner to withdraw the K-1 Visa petition for me, then he dont withdraw I could not able to apply h-2 visa .... Huhuh

you have to give USCIS written paper to cancel your paper, not call

I suggest you should consider your relationship closely before making final decision

if worst case happen, you can PM me so I can send you a form to cancel your paper

my papers is now in the uscis and it is still pending, the uscis time frame now is 6 months. I just filed last october 2008, we already had the noa 1 and we are waiting for the noa2. And i am cancelling it. Do my fiancee needs to call the uscis, to cancel it? what if he dont call. What will happen to my papers in the uscis? Am i going to have a problem in the future, just in case that i am going to apply for another fiancee visa. Please help me to clear all these things. Thank you
