  1. Hi, I am 5 months pregnant, I have a $3000 bill to womens care, and one labcorp bill $1000. My husband return from Iraq in feb 2009 and he was discharged with honours from airforce. So they did not cover us with insurance any more. I got pregnant in april, Husband got a job in may so the company insurance will not cover us because we got pregnant in april.

My question is after I get my greencard will it be ok to apply for medicade????? Or will it still look bad on my case?????

  2. hello, yes they want the report of your most recent 3 years tax return, it is required as if you read it thru the instructions, so you dont want to mess with them:) i dont think the most recent one will be enough, im sorry, you need to prepare exactly like what they want.

May, I ask where you are reading this? I am reading the I864 and under the instructions number 25 Federal Tax Income it states: You must provide either an IRS transcript or a photocopyfrom your own records of your Federal individual income taxreturn for the most recent tax year. If you believe additionalreturns may help you to establish your ability to maintainsufficient income, you may submit transcripts or photocopies of your Federal individual income tax returns for the three most recent years.

Am i missreading this? because to me it sounds like i only need to submit my most recent. Thanks

Hi, when I first sent my doc, I sent 2 yeas off tax returns. After 2 months they sent and asked for certain parts off our tax returns. Another 2 months and then they sent a letter saying if I did not send what they had asked for my case will be cloesd!!!!! So I printed out 3 years off tax returns and sent all off everything they will ever have to ask for, I mean about 40-50 pages off tax returns! Even asked the person who did our tax for W2s. Two weeks after I got my work permit and travil doc in the mail. So my thoughts to you just send as much as possable. Hope I helped.

  3. Hi Everyone I got my EAC in the mail and I am so happy I feel like it is the LORD telling us everything is going to be ok! I was a bit worried when they were taking so long with sending it, I am just so happy that things are moving along.

Ok I will need a little help now, what is next do I apply for SSN and then DR????? I am not sure please help, as well my husband wants to put my name on our accounts. What should I do first? Thank you all for you help :dance::dance::dance:

  4. Home from Iraq...meaning he's military? (He should have medical privileges right?)

    No he go discarged.

as a veteran of the army, especially of a war, there are still medical privileges he can avail himself to...unless his discharge is 'dishonorable'.

He was Honorable Discharge, He servied 2 years in Iraq. DSS told me I had to be in the country for 5 years for them to cover us. And we did look into what they are offering the Veterans and you have to be injured or really hurt for they to help you.

  5. Hi everyone. My husband received a letter from NVC two weeks ago saying that they have received our documents from the 1-129F and that it will be forwarded to the Manila US Embassy. There was also a case number given. Two days after that, he got another mail from NVC with another case number and Invoice ID number. He paid the Affidavit of Support bill already using these. Maybe because of excitement, we didnt notice that there were two different case numbers given. We are in the process of sending in the I-864 and tax returns to NVC but he called NVC and found out that the first number given to us was for the K3 visa and the second for CR1. What do u advice should we do? Should i call Manila US Embassy to ask if they have our documents already? We just want to be together as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your help. This forum has been a huge help.

I went with the I-29 and now I am still doing paper work in the US an I wish I had went with the I-30.

  6. Hey guys,

I just got married on March 8th in India. I was told by US embassy in Delhi that I have to stay 90 days and then I am eligible to apply for my husband. So I stayed 90days in India and the day I went to apply for him they declared that they changed rules and Delhi embassy was not following regulation and how you have to stay 6 months in order to apply. Also, it takes about the same time if you apply in India or America. I am more than furstrated and very angry that I was mis-informed even when I went and spoke w/the attendant in US embassy.

FYI - I am an American citizen, married to a Indian citizen.

Now that I am back in US I am thinking what are my options? Can someone please guide me as to what is the quickest and most effiecent way to bring your spouse to USA? I really need help with this and I feel like I have wasted so much time. Had I known that those 90 days were no good I would have flew back to US but yeah... Anywho, I have not applied for my hubby yet but i was wondering if I should try visitor visa first since it will take a lot less time. Please help me guide as to the options I have.

    Thank you ;(

I am sorry that happond to you, I was given bad info about my k3 visa as well. :bonk: You will have to apply for a I-130, there is also an I-129 but the diffrence with the both of them is that the I-129 is a few months faster than I-130. But the the I-129 is more costly. I went with the I-129 and when I got to the States I still had more paper work and money to spend. So my best advice to you is to go with the I-130 and when you Husband get to the US it will all be done

  10. Hi to all,

I called the embassy today to find out if our interview date was scheduled. They said our file has not been processed yet and they will inform me about the interview date once they process the file. It is really frustrating.. I sent the documents one week ago. I am really wondering when they are going to process it and inform us about the date...

Same here Sades, I called today and they are STILL PROCESSING my file!!!!!!!! Well wait a little while again :whistle::whistle: but I am still :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

  11. Great! Thank you so much! btw I am sending my email addres to you now.. check your messages :)

    Hi Mrs Rhoades,

UPS delivered my package 3 yesterday. I've checked all the documenst many times..i hope everything is in order! If so the embass inform me about the interview date.. I don't know how long this process takes though.. when do they inform us about the interview date? My husband will accompany me during the interview and he'll buy his flight ticket once they set the interview..

    Keep in touch..

    HI,

There is a number that you can call in the States to find out when is your interview date. I have heard others on Visa Journey say that they called and got their interview date from the US State department Visa office. Their number is 1-202-663-1225, between 8:30am-5pm US Time. I called when I wanted to find out if they have sent out my package 3 and a opperator said Yes they had sent our package 3. I asked if she could tell me when my interview date was and she said as soon as the Embassy enter it into their system she could tell me. So wait a few days and try calling this Number. My husband will accompany me to the interview as well. So he needs to know the date as soon as possable because he is fly in from Iraq. That will be the happiest day of my life!!!!! Hope this help you :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: and a special star for us for getting this far :star::star: one for you and one for me

    Sardes,

Could you resent your email address I sent you a email and it kept coming back to me. Also on friday I will call the US State Department, to see if they could give me my interview date. PlEASE LORD!!!! You should try on friday as well!

How are the rest of the Dec approvials going, did you all get your interview date yet???? And do you have all your infomation ready for interview. I collected my police cert and they wrote the wrong name on it!!! So we have to do it all over, they said that they would try to do it ASAP. And the think is that I said that I had it on the check list!!!! Well I am praying that it would be ready before the interview.

My Husband is coming to be with me next month, We did not spend christmas together. He plans to stay until the interview and then we will pack up and leave for USA!!!!

I am having all of these feelings I want so bad to be with my husband, but I will be leaving my family, friends and everything I have known scince I was born. Yes I konw I want to have my cake and eat it as well!!!! hahahaha

Is it just me or you all feeling the same?!?!?!?!?:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

  12. Hi,

I guess every country is diffrent, I did my package 3 for my k3 visa this week and I got all the forms they sent me but the only ones I had to send back to them was the DS-230 and a check list that had to be signed and sent back to them to set up my interview date. The other forms they sent I was told to fill out and bring them on the day of the interview. Hope this help.
