Oh ok thanks. We are tryin to hire one and it’s gonna cost us 3,500. We got denied over the RFE letter we didn’t receive. I was only able to find out 6 months later when i check the case status.

Hi, also on part 2 number 4, what is the applicable answer to that. Thanks41EE2218-85ED-4A8A-BE02-20BEAEF731CA.thumb.png.e7fef3479ef91e43a9998e5979c0b26e.png

  3. It should be an Affidavit of Oneness (of the correct name as per passport and BC name); but what on BC is the basis of name in general.

Your family here in PH should consult LRC and discuss with them the pros and cons and what are your options. This is not just a minor typo since this is his family name. Trying to go around it this time again can further delay your immigration petition. I am sure they already know the typo at least 30 years ago and yet just put it behind since.

Hi, what is LRC? We are really stressing out about it. Trying to decide if we should just go ahead and hope they will overlook the error, (it should've been Genaro but they typed Genarro) . I told my father to just go get it fix but his parents complicated a lot of things for him. Using a different name when he went to school and his baptismal(which is required by the NSO to get your BC fixed) and it will take 4 months to have it corrected.

  4. his last name and your maiden names should have been the same and that will be a major issue.

Name on the NSO BC normally prevails, How did he able to secure a passport?

Hi, thanks for answering. I don't know how they were able to get a passport(he's had one for 30 years). I actually meant to say power of atty instead of affidavit. But anyways, we will try it again, do the power of atty. and see if it works. And maybe get a birth and death certificate of both his parents showing that they only screwed up on his BC.

  5. Hi,

I am petitioning my parent to come to the US, i filed the i-130 a little over 2 months ago . I received letter saying they got my packet and ask for more evidence which i sent almost immidiately. They are currently living/working in Dubai but would like go back to the Philippines. Is it possible to transfer or change their location from dubai to the Philippines? On the i-130 the address we used is their current address which is in dubai. They are planning to go back home(the philippines) as soon we find out if it's ok to continue their papers in the Philippines.

    Thanks in advance ^^

  6. Hi everyone, thanks for taking some time to read this.

I am USC and would like to petition for my parents who are both Filipino citizen but are currently living in Dubai. My father works in Dubai for almost 30 years now but still a filipino citizen. Will it be a problem to petition them while they reside in dubai? Or do they need to go back to their homeland(Philippines) and process it all there?

    Thnaks

  7. I'm not sure if she can even get a Philippines passport. Anyway she dont need, she just needs a US Passport and the 21 day thing wont apply if you all travel together and you enter as a Balik Byan (not sure of spelling) visa since you are a citizen there and then they can be under your visa and stay for 1 year without paying the overstaying fees. You have a green card right? If you do , when you leave dont let them screw you out of the 1700p exit tax, show your greencard and they will give you a waiver on that exit tax, you just have to pay like 350p for the waiver hehehe , well they have to get atleast a lil out of you.

That's what I thought, that she cant get a Philippines passport.

That would be great if i don't have to get an extension for her, I just didn't want to have all the hassle of doing all of those, they said its worth 5000Ph for the extension :o

Yes i do have a Green Card, it would be great to pay little as possible :) thanks:)

  8. Hello Everyone!

    Happy Holiday..

Me and my Daughter are going to the Philippines March of Nextyear, She is 2 years old and will need to have a passport.

I am not a US citizen but my Husband is, and our Daughter was born in the US. I am wondering if she needs a US or Philippines Passport or both..

We will be in the Philippines for 2 months, I've been hearing that she could only be in the philippines for 21 days coz shes a US citizen. What do we need to do?

    Thanks in advance!

  9. If you have a 2 yr green card you are NOT renewing it. You have to apply for removal of conditions.

Filing removal of conditions should be done 90 days before expiration or the soonest possible time frame you have.

    Hi, thanks for the respond..

With that said, should I apply for the removal of conditions here in Oregon then just use Form AR-11 to change my Address?

    Thanks..

  10. hello everyone..

me and my husband are going to have our interview on august 17..

they are requiring medical examinations again'and the vaccination supplement..

i have submitted that already at my POE..

so do i need to do a medical examination again?

and so as the affidavit of support'they are also requiring that..

but then again we have submitted that too..

do we have to do it again??

do i also need the EAD??

we didnt apply for the EAD becoz i am pregnant and i wont be working for the next couple months becoz of our baby coming soon

and as we all know EAD expires every year so we're planning to just apply for it next year...

but now im wondering if they will need that on our AOS interview..

and my last question is that my K-1 visa is expired already, will that be a problem on my interview??

thanks in advance for ur comments....

  11. hello VJ'rs

    how are you all:)

my i-94 will expire on may 21,we just got married last saturday, april 18'and it will take 3-4 weeks before we get our marriage certificate.

and now the marriage certificate is the most important document we need for AOS right..

what can we do about it.can we call USCIS and tell em we are working on it and waiting for our marriage certificate...

we actually have all of the papers to be filled out,i also did apply for my SSN,but i will need to go back when i have my marriage certificate and change my name..

so basically we are just worried now about the AOS,i might get out of status...

    thanks for your comments:)

  12. hi everyone:)

i just want to know how is the SSN process is,what is needed?

and what comes next after SSN,is it AOS??

How long will it take to get a SSN?

what are the documents needed for AOS...

my K1 visa will expire on may 21..

do i still have time to do everything??

    plz plz plz comment back:),thanks:)

  13. If i will recall, and i just ask my fiance becoz we are chatting right now'we never encountered DS-230...you dont need to send anything...

right now, just make an appointment'theres a website given on the letter right'surf that and follow those requirements...Affidavit of support are ur fiance/fiancee's part...but then u should do ur medical one week before ur interview or u can go anytime now...

    Goodluck
