Sorry, no idea. You can definitely apply for the regular one. The expedited is I think $60 more or so, but I'm not sure if you can apply for one right after the ceremony. It's possible that you'll have to make an appointment at the passport office.

Ok, so my husband and I are now officially US Citizens. Since my husband was able to reschedule his oath ceremony and his timeline ended up to be the same as mine, I'm deleting the Suaya415-2 row I added in post #881.

If you want to apply for US Passport after the ceremony don't forget to bring 2 photographs and check or money order for $135. Good luck to everybody else still waiting for their turn!

During the interview both my husband and I requested our oaths to be after June 15 due to travel. Our IOs said they would request that but they couldn't guarantee anything. Until now we were both on the same schedule, but since then our timelines parted, so I'm adding Suaya415-2 for my husband for easier tracking.

My husband was supposed to go to his oath on 22nd, but that was too close to our departure day, so he rescheduled. When we called to ask if the letter arrived, they didn't confirm or deny, just told us to wait. For now I'm going to leave his interview date set to May 22 until we hear back from them.

I got my oath letter today to appear on June 19, updating both timelines.

You both passed your interviews on May 14, and your husband received his interview letter for the 22nd?? Do you mean he received his oath letter for the 22nd?

Yeah, I meant oath letter to show up on the 22nd.

Yeah, so my husband and I both passed our interviews on May 14th and we asked to delay our oath until after we come back from our trip, which they agreed to. Guess what. On the 16th we were both placed in line, on the 17th my husband got a letter that his interview will be on May 22nd. Turns out we both got the same set of civics questions. My husband never registered with Selective Service, but since he's now 36 they didn't even mention that. He did attach a letter explaining why he didn't register with his original N-400 packet though, I guess that helped. His IO asked him about our joint sponsor for our GC, which was kind of weird, but other than that I'd say it was a pretty standard interview. We would like to travel abroad in 2 weeks, so we both requested our oath to be delayed. While nothing is set in stone, both IOs said they would add a note to our files to postpone our oaths, mine to be scheduled sometime in July, my husband might have to wait until September, at least that's what they told us. We don't have anything in writing, but they both said it should be ok for us to go. Overall really happy with the outcome, we both passed and we both can travel, which we were afraid we wouldn't be able to do until after the oath. Good luck to everybody else.
