I came here for a fiance visa,got married and had a baby two months ago.Unfortunately me and my husband have been into many fights till we reach physical fight but baby isn't involve though,i mean wasn't hurt.The last time we had a fight,he was the one who left the house first as always coz he knows i can't go somewhere else coz i don't have work,car or money so maybe he thinks that i will be stuck at the house.He put passwords in the computer and laptop,no cellphone,no allowance.He restrict me of many things.So what i did,i went to my neighbor's house and she was the one who called a police and the police did a report and brought me to a shelter with my baby and no one can tell wherever i am.3 days after staying at the shelter,i went back coz he asked for another chance and i was hoping this marriage will work out.Unfortunately,his family was very upset and said many nasty things against me because they said i should have called them and asked their help instead of going to a shelter and called a police.But the reason i went there to the shelter coz i want him to learn a lesson coz for me,i deserve a better treatment as his wife.I was very sad with their reactions because they were being biased,but of course they will really favor my hubby coz he is their son even if he did something wrong.They threatens me that i can't take my baby coz i don't have work or money but i know that whenver i go back to Philippines,i can find work and take care of my baby esp.that my families are there to help.His mom offered me plane ticket to go back to the Philippines and she insist me to do it but i don't think i can really do it coz she will just buy plane ticket and no allowance and i was thinking that someone might stop me at the airport.Last night,he tried to take my baby away without my permission and went to his sister but i was able to follow.I called a police,they came but they told me i can't do something about it coz they said he is the father.I just don't want him to take away my baby from me.he can't even take care of me how much more of a baby?I gave him a chance and he said he will try to improve better to make this marriage work out and he suggested counseling.My questions are:

Is there really a chance that instead of the baby will go to me,it will go to the father coz i don't have money?

I told him i want divorce but he said he will contest it and he told me that i will be the one to file but the problem i don't have money for the lawyer for some other expenses.What should i do?

if i decide to go back to my country,and i take my baby with me?Does she need a passport?do i have a consent from the father?what are the other requirements?

The police report,will it affect my aos application?

I am planning to file my AOS this month but I really don't want to get vaccinations while i am still pregnant.I am 7 months pregnant now.I called some civil surgeons in my area and most of them said i really need to have vaccinations in order for them to issue the form I-693...i really thought that the vaccination document worksheet that i had from the Philippines is enough...what am i gonna do?I'm kinda worried getting the vaccinations,i wanna do it after i deliver the baby..advice please?thanks

I am 7 months pregnant and plan to apply for aos this month.My question is,do i have to go to a civil surgeon?are they going to give me vaccines even if i am pregnant?I have a copy of my vaccination documentation worksheet done in the Philippines before i came here in the US.Will this be enough or i still need to submit the I-693 form?

My friend and her fiance got married in the Philippines and after that they filed a k3 visa.When her visa interview was approaching,she found out that her hubby has another woman from europe and told her that they will get married in europe so my friend canceled it.Do you think they can legally marry in europe even if the guy got first married to my friend in the Philippines?Do you think the guy can bring the new girl in the US?Is the marriage in the Philippines not valid in the US even if it was legal?I really felt pity for my friend.Does she need to report their marriage in the US government?Can she ask financial support form her husband even if they are not together?her hubby said they will file separation...Her hubby's reason said that his parents doesn't like her.But i don't think it's correct to divorce her for that simple reason..what's the best thing to do?I need legal advice regarding this issue too..hope i can hear something for u guys..thanks...

Yes,we are very sure we left them inside the car but we were not sure if we brought them inside the house.I was in pain that time coz of my teeth.If it was left inside the dentist office,they should have called us but i don't really think it was there..I am really worried..do u think i can get another visa or passport?what i need to do?what will happen if those will not be found?

I wouldn't assume the doctor's office would call you..but.

Yes, all those things can be replaced (Passport, SS Card, Marriage Cert.) - My advice is to be absolutely certain the passport is lost (in other words, you never find it) before reporting it lost and then ordering a new one (so you don't go through all the trouble only to find it and have to return one of them).

You didn't by any chance have copies of all of these items did you?

Yes,i have a copy of my passport but that was when i was still in the Philippines so there was no stamp on my xerox copy.I even forgot to copy my ssn and my visa number.I really didn't expect this to happen.I am not so worried about the ssn and marriage certificate coz i think i can get another copy easily.But i am not sure what to do with my passport and visa especially that my visa has expired already and we didn't file my AOS yet...I'm pregnant now.I don't want to worry about this but i can't help to think about it....how long do you think i get the copy of those?

Just recently,i found out that my passport,visa,ssn card,marriage certificate was lost or being taken by someone.I brought them with me when i went to my dentist appointment but since the dentist didn't ask any of it,i just left them inside the car and put them together in an envelope and locked the car.I didn't notice them that it was lost not until my hubby asked me about it.I thought it was in my bag only but when i looked at it,it wasn't there.I looked and search the whole house and in the car too but it wasn't really there.I am kinda worried coz my k1 visa has expired already last August and we didn't file my AOS yet.What do you think i need to do?I am from Philippines.I will appreciate guys any advice you can give to me.Please send me message.thank you

Hello Everybody....My interview date will be this April 7,2009..Does anybody here have the same schedule as mine or close to mine?I am from Mindanao and im kinda wondering where to stay or whats the nearest hotel near ST.Lukes or US Embassy that isnt that expensive...any advice about this?what date should i have my medical exam?

I am new and i have many questions to ask.I need all your advice.Last Oct.10,2008,our lawyer sent the I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) at the Vermont service center received it last Oct.17,2008.I am wondering what is NAO1 and NAO2,our lawyer gave us the receipt number so i can check the status of my visa.Upon my second check,it says there that they have approved the I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)last feb.13,2009 and said,they sent it already.Now,i am wondering coz i still dont have it yet.As of now,im still waiting.I wanna know also about the NAO1,if i got the receipt number,is this the NAO1?what is NAO2?is this the approval of the I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)?An advice will be appreciated..thank you...if you wanna reply,just send it to my email add..n_deep_jen@yahoo.com...last thing,can i call the manila embassy to get an early schedule for the interview even if i didint receive any mails yet from the embassy??

Whoops, I read you hadn't got your NOA2. I would call USCIS and ask where it is. If you can see the back of the cashed cheque online then you should be able to get your case number, register with online updates at USCIS and check to whether your NOA1 was sent out.

He can probably ring his bank and see if they can read it off for him. Or ring USCIS and see what they have to say.

this is what our lawyer emailed to me,"As of today they did not send us a receipt notice but we know your visa is processing because his check has been cashed and the check has a seal in the back that confirms the receipt of the packet. After the date in the check .. the waiting time for approval is of at least 4- 5 months. After that you can expect at least another 4 months to get an interview. ".....what can u say about my lawyer's email?

I am new to this but I think you should have your NOA1 by now. Do you have a receipt number that starts with EAC? I would ask your lawyer to find out...isn't that what you hire them for in cases like this.?

We filed my K1 petition last Oct.2008,and they received it last Oct.17,2008.I am a little worried coz until now,we haven't received the NAO1 yet.What do you think is the reason?Our lawyer said that we just have to wait.He also said that the check was cashed out already.What am i going to do?What month do you think my petition will be approved?any advice will be appreciated..thanks in advance guys..
