Oana, I'm also waiting for the NOA2. I don't know what we can do now. My fiance will come here visit me tomorrow, he came here 5 times a year. Believing in God, he's just testing our patience. Our NOA2 are around the corner.

Thanks very much for your guys' comfort. My fiance had a heart operation today, he's doing fine now. I felt so sad that moment when he's in the operation, I can do nothing for him but praying. I also had some difficult time before in my life, but when I look back now, those difficulities are nothing. We'll be together with our love at the end, even though it seems not so easy now. God is blessing us.

Natan, Panterchen,Oana, Stepha...your words make me feel so warm, thank you guys. We called USCIS this morning, but the one answering the phone dosn't know too much about the reason why we got stuck. My fiance will have an operation in these days, he needs me thereto take care of him, we asked for expediating, but not sure whether it will work or not.

Oana, the touches means they're working on your case, I'm sure you'll get the NOA2 soon.

Stepha, hang in there, for our case, I heard from Chinese visa forum, if we get so much investigation andreviewing before P2, then the other steps, like NVC checking, consulate checking, it will just take very short time.

God, what can I say?! My fiance just got a letter from USCIS saying they still needs 60 days more to review our case....

Hey, guys, nice to get back here from my Chinese's new year trip back to my hometown. Our case is still on pending. My fiance went to congressman's office last Friday, they said they will inquiry the case and give us feedback in a few days.

We called USCIS last week, the guy answering the phone said he can see from the record that we've called uscis 5 times, but at the end the answer came out the same, as you know. What about call csc directyly, anyone tried that before?

No answer from your service request, Evian? We got ours saying they have to perform additional reviews- I'm afraid we may be stuck in security checks. My fiance jokes I'm the problem as he became a citizen in May last year and he was checked back then. We can't be stuck because of him, it must be me- me, the bad guy trying to steel away one of their American citizens

My case got touched for 2 times, on Jan.6th and Jan.7th, then it went back to her sleep again...My fiance went to infopass yesterday, no help, just told him to be patient and it would take us about 8 monthes.

Hey guys, I have some exciting infomation share with you. As what you knew, on Jan.4th will be the 60days after they received our RFE documents. So my fiance called them on Jan.5th(Monday), and the lady who answered the phone told us to wait, coz now they're still dealing with the cases on April, then she hung up! It seemed this lady didn't want to help, so my fiance made another phonecall, you know what? Story's totally different. The USCIS guy answered the phone said now they could do something to help us, since it's beyond 60days. And then he gave my fiance a service request no.(which I think means USCIS sent CSC a demanding actions and reminders), told him that we should get the reply in 30days, at most 45 days. Indeed, I found my case was touched in Jan.6th, and Jan.7th, which meant they're working on our case now.

So guys,you may keep on calling uscis until you got a service request. By the way, we also made infopass appointment on Friday, if we don't get NOA2 by this Thursday, maybe my fiance will go there to get more information.

My fiance called USCIS yesterday, our case is still in processing, but the uscis lady answering the phone told my fiance that she can connect him with the officer who's dealing with case if our case's still pending after two months they received our RFE. Ok, now the day's coming soon(It's Jan.3rd). Let's see.

Nothing's new here... I just cannot understand why they take so long time for the adjudication. And it seems two monthes after RFE still means nothing. I don't know how long it gonna take for my case. You'll meet your baby soon, that's good, wish you have a nice vacation, and also good news of Nov2.

When I wake up this morning I received an sms from my baby: we got an infopass appointment for 12.12.2008. Someone else must have canceled his/hers. Hope we'll get some answers....

We called USCIS yesterday(my fiance called them, and kept me on line at the same time), the lady answed the phone said that they could do nothing to push our case if it's not beyond the timeline they pomised on our notification. As for the 6-months processing time, it's not a guarantee, that's just a ref, for some cases, they need longer time. Also I inquired about the infopass appointment, she told me the appointment result would come out almost the same as what she's telling us, so we didn't make an appointment. Now we can do nothing, just wait until the day two monthes after they received our RFE document. Stepha, hope you can have a big step after this appointment, God bless you!

The more I think about my RFE case, the more I feel it's unfair to us. We provided all they want from the website when we filed the application, and after 4months waiting they want more(as for my case, they want my fiance's certified divorce paper) which not requested on their website. Ok, we mailed back the extra document they want, then they should hurry up with our case, they should put it in first, coz it's not our fault on missing necessary documents, it's they ask more, then they should not have more delay on it. Now we've been waiting for more than one month after they received the RFE document, I think maybe that officer totally forgot our case. My fiance said he'll call cris tomorrow, but he said he doesn't want argue too much with them, he said maybe it'll make it worse. Is it true? I don't care so much about that, if my English was good enough, I would have called them, what's going on with them?!

As for you Evian dont lose hope, our God is a mighty God..that's exactly what i told my fiancee too, like imagine how would we be like if we would have get married two months after we met, then God would have not grow us as much as He did so far, in faith , in patience and trust on him, but instead he chose this visa thing to teach us some elementary things about the Christian daily walk...After all, he could have chose another way to teach us all these and maybe that way would have been more painful...think about it...

As oana31 said, God just expected a lil bit more faith in him coming from us so He can do His miracle...and it's so true...

Yesterday i felt like watching again "Facing the giants" for like the 3rd time so far and there are so many new cool things i noticed in the movie...for us k1 appliers , the giants are the worries, the stress, the impatience, the longing, etc... and we need to face them, but not let them do their game, but making our own game, knowing we have the best COUCH... I dont know too much about football, cos im a european and i love soccer, but im sure the same idea goes for soccer too...

The first thing I do everydayafter I turn on my computer is checking my case status, but still the same" last updated on 11/05/2008". I'm so disappointed. I just told my self that God planned all this. For us waiting for long time, God also has his reason, maybe he wants my fiancee to cherish me more after this long time visa waiting, maybe he wants me to stay a little bit longer time with my kids in my coutry......Be patient everyone, our God will bring us what we want.
