  1. Her fingerprint notice came in, and she emailed the lawyer and rescheduled it.

Don't sweat it man. Just remember, what goes around comes back around. So just let her be, get yourself together and get over the situation. If you want to turn her in, that's your choice, but I would not. Trust me, if she did you wrong, not even being in the states will stop her from getting her own share. Just hang in there and some day you may meet the one who truly loves you, not for the paper you can give her but for you. But for now, just take time to be alone and get over this situation. In the other hand, if ya'll just had a family disagreement and she truly loves you, so there's a chance to work it out, then work it out. But be very careful....

    Take care dude!

  2. Hello. I sent Form DS-3025 and I did not send I-693 because when I called USCIS the customer service rep told me there was no need to send any more medical examination since my wife came in as K-1. Now, if I want to send an I-693, how could I do so if I already sent the package? Is there any way to send the 693 to be added to our package, or do I have to cross my fingers on the RFE issue? Thanks!

    Hi,

When did your wife came here?when did you applied for adjustment of status(AOS).I think no need to send I-693 if its not expired yet.Your wife came here as a K1 visa holder right, If you file AOS after you got married the medical from the philippines is still good. The medical is good for 1 year...

She arrived in March, got married last week and sent off for AOS today. Her medical should still be definitely valid, but I'm hearing two versions of the story when it comes to the I-693. Thanks!

  3. I am about to send all my papers for AOS but I became confused until somebody told me that I should not use the surname of my husband yet.

should I use the surname of my husband on the G325a form and others form for AOS?

or use my name when I am single?

It is recommendable that you use your married name, since that's the name you'll use for life. Unless you'll be keeping your maiden name.

  4. In case anyone may be interested in resolving this issue at a later time. If they don't issue you an I-94, the best bet is to go to your nearest Customs office in your place of residence. We did so and they told us that we're not the first and that it happens, not so common, but it does. They pulled her up on the computer and saw it and issued her the I-94. Thanks to you guys for your quick replies!

    Best Wishes!

  6. Can someone please tell me what I need to do from here. My wife (at the time my fiancee) came into the U.S. from the Philippines and was not given an I-94. Now, we're here trying to file for AOS and part of the requirement for the package is the I-94. Can you please tell me what our options are if she wasn't given one by the customs officer at port of entry? Thanks!

    Anthony

Are you sure about this? It's just that I can't conceive of how your wife was permitted entry without an I-94: it simply doesn't happen. I'd respectfully suggest she's lost it somewhere.

She states that no form was ever stamped on her passport but rather that her passport was just stamped upon and she was sent on her way. But I know what you mean. I myself can't conceive how she was sent thru without being given an I-94.

  7. Did they stamp anything in the passport? (usually you fill out the I-94 on the plane and you fill it out) - sure you didn't misplace it in your paperwork?

I would contact the POE and see what they can do for you.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, She filled out the form on the plane. She turned over the paperwork to the customs officer but they just stamped her passport, asked her a couple questions and sent her off.

  9. If you have a bona fide reationship, then you should be fine.

Probably because you meet thru a relative, and something else in your packet flagged you for the Fraud Unit.

Yeah I guess so... but we truly have a true relationship.. I mean, people meet they life partners in many different ways including through friends or family members. My brother himself met his wife through her sister. So I don't understand the big deal over that? Anyway, thanks for your comments! I noticed you're in Texas too, what part? Take care and congrats on your relationship!

  10. The only thing i can guess is there was something in the packet or said in the interview that sent up a red flag, that caused them to contact the visa fraud unit and do extra interviews, I imagine they are going to do some more background checks and what ever else is protcol in these matters.

Well the only thing she said is that her sister introduced us and I guess that raised the flag. So I guess obviously that's the wrong thing to say at the interview.

  11. WE TO WENT THROUGH THE F.P.U. INTERVIEW. WE GOT THE VISA TWO MONTHS SEVENTEEN DAYS LATER. THE ONLY INFO THEY WILL GIVE IS IT IS WITH THE OTHER UNIT. I HAD MY CONGRESSMAN INVOLVED EVER SINCE THE USCIS STAGE. HE WAS UNABLE TO HELP HERE. I CALLED THE EMBASSY SO OFTEN THAT LORRAINE BEGAN TO RECOGNIZE MY VOICE.

I SENT SEVERAL PACKAGES OF ADDITIONAL EVIDENCE. THEY DID NOT REQUEST, BUT I WAS THINKING OF ALL THAT I COULD DO. IF POSSIBLE YOU MAY CONSIDER ANOTHER VISIT. WE HAD WAY MORE THAN ENOUGH INITIAL EVIDENCE. I HAD SPENT OVER TWO MONTHS THERE ON TWO OCCASIONS. MAYBE RANDOM SELECTION, CAN'T SAY THOUGH....

    GOOD LUCK

Wow, almost 3 months. How come they selected your fiancee for the FPU? Did you guys state having met through someone else as well? Well, it's pretty tough for me to make it there again especially because of my line of work, it's hard to get vacation time. I just don't know why they make it so hard to be with the one you love :-(

  12. What are the problems you encounter during your interview? why they did that to you. Do you have all papers they need?pictures, proofs, and affidavit of support?

yes all the supporting documents pictures emails letters i even showed to them our pre marriage counseling here as a formal engagement with the proposal card from my fiancee.i told them i met my man thru my sister but we were friends from the start of our communications until we built an intimate relationship after corresponding often with each other.

  13. hi i just finish my interview with the embassy this week and i was interviewed four times in one day and a half.after all i was being told that they will have to call me to whatever the results of our K-1 visa application.they said that its not them that decides wither im approved or denied.has anyone ever experience this?i already turned all the documents needed all complete.

what kind of case is this?however after the interview i sign those questions that i filled up are true infront of the consule and she sign it with a seal on it.

does anybody experience this?they said it wont take a month for me to know the result.

  14. My fiancee had her interview the other day and she told them that we met through her sister. They proceeded to take her to some kind of anti fraud unit department. The interviewed her over 4 times or so. Finally, the second day she was interviewed but was told that they're not the ones who approve the visa. So now I'm really confused. Where do we go from here? I mean, we have a solid relationship and it's definitely not based on fraud. I'm a little worried as to this whole process now? How long will it take? What does it encompass? Can someone please share some insights with me....

    Thanks!

  17. My I-130 was recieved and the case # beginning with EAC showed up on line the same day I recieved my NOA1 in the mail. I did notice the number was one digit different then what showed on the back of my cancelled check! But all is good on that end. As for my I-129F It was recieved on the 13th of November and the date showing on the NOA1 I recieved was for the 14th of November. Pretty quick. However, the case # beginning with EAC on my 129 NOA1 still does not show up on line. Does it normally take a while. At the moment I'm not really sure if my I-129F is registered in the system even though I have my NOA1. I'm kind of hoping for the K3 because of time. Thanks!

The EAC # that shows up on your NOA1 is the correct one and the one you will stick with throughout this whole process. As for it appearing online, I would call them and verify that they do have it in their system and I would say you can ask them about it appearing online. But if you have your NAO1 then you don't have anything to worry about whether it shows up online or not. Just make sure you call them and make sure that they are working on it since that's what I would be most concerned about. Best wishes!

  18. HI

i just wanna ask what's the next thing we need to do after we got our manila case number? my fiance is here in manila with me so he cannot able to get the letter from NVC, but we called them already and they said that, they recieved our I129F PETITION and they forwarded to the USEM 3days after they recieved. I just wanna know if can i pay now the things that i need to pay like visa fee or DV? Even if don't have the nvc letter and the letter from the embassy? i hope u can help me again guys!!!! and thank u in advance...

Hi, Jury! How long you waited for your Manila Case Number? We just got approved last Nov.24 and hoping for our Manila case number soon. Good luck to you and God bless!

    Hi Netscot,

You should call NVC to get your case MNL case number... thats how we got ours then have your MNL# handy and NOA2 to get your medical...

    Good Luck.

i dont understand. you mean you can go for an medical with just the MNL case #? i recieved mine last nov.22 and they said that i have to wait for the packet that contains intructions on interview and medical. because they said that packet is the one you will show on the medical and interview. please enlighten me with this. pls pls pls.

what other VJers did was they just showed a copy of their NVC letter at SLEC (St. Luke's Extension clinic)and they were able to have their medical. It's walk-in basis, no need for appointment.

for the interview, they called the call center and able to make an appointment since they already have the MNL #.

for details go to the USEM website, if you are K1 start here:

    http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html

Yeah, there's no need to wait for any documents to arrive at your door. We just did it last week. The only document you need is the notification from NVC and show up at St Luke's Extension Clinic EARLY in the morning because it gets full fast. As for the interview, we tried to just call with the MNL #, but what you need is to find out from NVC if they've sent your package, they can tell you when they've sent it but just not when it'll arrive though you can track it yourself. Give it about a week or two though and it should arrive, for Manila it arrives within 3 days or so. Then give the Embassy some time to put it in the system. After doing so, you're ready to call and make that interview appointment. I think they're full now for this year though, so you're looking at January February appointments. Hope that helps! Take care and Best wishes with the process! It has truly been a journey....

thank you so much for this info. really thank you. i already had my sched on jan. 7. thank you so much.

hey guys!!! my fiance got his nvc notice 2 days ago and seems like december is already full for the interview maybe i'll just wait for my packet 3...what do you think??????/

No, I wouldn't wait if I were you, because think about it, if they're full for December, think about all the folks trying to get in for January. I just spoke with one of the reps at the embassy and she told me that they are starting to get full for January already and there's no openings at all for December unless someone drops their schedule (1:1,000,000 chances of that happening :hehe: ) Anyway, I recommend you just go ahead and start working on everything as soon as possible. Every second count and trust me some parts of it are slow. NVC for example was really slow with us, holding our paperwork for like 3 weeks before they decided to send it. So stay on top of it at all times... Anyway, best wishes with your process... I'm just waiting for her to be approved at the interview and to arrive here to then start on the adjustment of status journey.... I'm sure it's one journey we'll all never forget! Take care and Happy Holidays!
