    I am so confused about NVC, Embassy........

    Hello

    I am so confused in what's happening next. I have received my NOA2 about two weeks ago. I have not called NVC and see if my case been forwarded to embassy in my fiancee country. I will call monday. I was just told that, after the embassy receives the paperwork from NVC, that the embassy will sent me the instructions back here to US. Is this true, if so how long does it take to receive these instructions. Also can my fiancee pick up her packet three from the embassy, or does it have to mailed to her. ( the mailing system is unreliable in her country). Thank you in advance.

    I cant even type properly...

    WE ARE APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

    I called CSC today and I was ready to start raising hell, and as soon as I got the IO on the phone, he said, CONGRATULATIONS, you are approved as of today Feb 05.

    Status online has not changed and no email, I am guessing later tonight I will get the email and status changed online.

    I AM SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!

    THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT....

    Still going to be here FOR SURE to continue the rest of the journey :)

    OMG Habibi! I really hope that is your NOA2, I am sure it is, wait for an email later tonight or even tomorrow:)

    As for me, no news, no touches, nothing. You all will be the first ones (after my fiance of course :) ) to know about my NOA2 as soon as I get it! I really hope to hear something by next week, don't want to drag my sorry butt over to the 6 months+ waiting club and introduce myself there, I feel so terrible for those pple waiting in there. BUT, interestingly, the 2 approvals from CSC this week, one of them (and another one last week) were approvals for pple waiting from July. Really don't want to join the 6 months+ club... :crying:

    Still trying to keep strong and praying for my NOA2...this week would be fabulous, but next week is the final straw!

    Cases are processed in the order they are received.......riiiiiight USCIS.

    You should have had your case processed by now, seeing as there are people who filed 3-4 weeks after you who have been approved. I hope you see your NOA2 this week, if not this week.. definitely next week. If not next week, than I hope you find a way to raise holy hell with CSC about what the status of your case is.

    Being touched probably the most exciting thing that has happened to me for the past couple of months. But i still don't have my NOA2. I hope that soon i will have it.

    Hello,

    I recently received RFE and in process of re-doing I-864.

    Since I would prefer not to go through this for third time, I need your advice!

    "my father in law files I-864 as a joint sponsor."

    "he makes about $100,000 of income with house hold size of 3"

    "use of Asset is not required"

    "the most recent tax information is sufficient."

    Are those all correct?

    I'd like to hear some advice from you all.

    I am currently in Cartagena, Colombia visiting my fiance. I have been here 2 days, but today I received the greatest gift in my NOA2 approval. I filed for the fiance visa on August 11, 2008. I honestly did not realize how overcome with emotion that Ana and I would be about receiving the NOA2! We laughed together, we cried together and most importantly we thanked God for our NOA2!

    I thought I would be approved by November, so I put that we would be married in November 2008. Now that we have the NOA2, I can probably safely say that we will get married sometime in April

    Just got the NOA2!!!!!!!!!! Its been 6 months minus 17 days. About time. I was feeling just like its unjust blah blah nothing had even been updated since 8 22 08 even at 5 this evening...got an email at 7 15 and the website was updated. I put in a request to the congressman the week before (since the senator explained that as a state senator he doesn't deal with federal matters). About time! To all those waiting, keep in mind that the approval can come at ANY TIME

    Congratulations, this gives me hope
