Hi all, I haven't had access to a computer while in Guangzhou. We met Maggie in line at the consulate, as she already said, and she recognized us from my tiny avatar photo. Congrats on your approval, Maggie.

Leilei was approved, but we had a short delay getting the visa. We just picked it up this morning, and flew back to Shenyang. Guangzhou is too hot.

You guys so sweet! You just held Leilei's hand tight untill she had to go upstairs with me. Hehe, congrats! I definately knew she will pass!

Well guys, I'm headed off for China again tomorrow. I'm going to help my fiancee fill out her forms, then next week we're flying to Guangzhou together for her interview. Hopefully all will be well, and she'll be back here with me within a month. (insert crossed fingers emoticon here)

In China, it takes 3 months to wait for p3. Due to the customer clearance.

Yes, you are a little late. We've already sent back packet 3 almost two weeks ago. But, thanks for your offer, and thanks for the link. I will be in China again with her for her interview, so I'll help her fill out those forms too.

LeiLei is lucky, I have to go interview by myself coz Vincent doesn't have any annual leaves.

For those of you still assembling your documents for package 3, pay attention to the wording on the instructions. We just got back our English translations today, and I noticed the birth certificate didn't include both of her parents' names, birthdates and places of birth, as the instructions require. I didn't pay that much attention to the wording, and when we got the original in Chinese, I couldn't read it anyway to see what it said. Apparently birth certificates in China are much different from those in the US. So now we have to go get another one (and pay for it), and then get it translated again (quite expensive).

Is it just me or are there still some November filers out there that are still having difficulty checking their case online with the same error msg? I haven't been too worried about it since we've already received our NOA1 however I've noticed that December k1 filers are able to check theirs??

Yes, we are still getting the error message too! I check everyday 2 -3 times a day and have called and get the same error message. I have not even gotten a hard copy of the NOA1. Understanding that since I am working overseas at the moment there is the slight possibility it has not been

forwarded to me yet. I called and talked to a customer service representative and they were of NO help at all. Told me I would have to wait at least 6 months before I could request them to check on the status. We are very frustrated with this whole system and it is just getting started.

My fiance called USCIS and got the standard reply,and also they said some people are not able to check with no reason,just can't check,their cases can't be public for some reason.(they didnt explain,but we guess they just made mistake to input our case)....anyway,it won't cause the case any delay.

If you want to check the status you have to call them.

So let's stay positive, NOA2 will come soon!

Havent been able to visit the November filers for a while we haven to busy with Radz going to Manila and doing medical and now getting ready for interveiw later this week. IM glad to see everyone here doing well and Wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope you all get good news soon.

Thank you Radz just called me a few minutes ago she got approved at interview. We didnt get to talk long but i hope we can talk more later so she can fill me in on the details. Good Luck Nov filers. and dont put to much stock in the online status check. lots of June filers got approved and the online status never changed.

Since many of us can't view our case status online, have any of you called in to check your status? I know it's early, but I'm wondering what sort of information we might be able to find out over the phone. Have they said when they will fix the problem?

My fiance Vincent called the USCIS few days ago,he was told they'd got our application(after typing keyboard).However they didn't explain why we can't check the status with the receipt number.

It seems that you speak and understand more than just "BARELY" Mandarin!!! For someone as a foreigner being able to read and write Mandarin is really something AMAZING!!!

Welcome! You have the same surname as my fiancee... I think. 周? At least you don't have far to go for your interview, living in Guangzhou. Lots of people are having problems with the website. Don't worry about it, you've got your NOA1, that means you're in the system.
