Congrats Mary What does your approvals says?I want to know if it is standard format.

I think it is standard, no specific information was provided .. says something like "Congratulations, your petition to remove conditions has been approved ... you will receive your card within the next 60 days..."

I received a letter, no email and in the web site still displays "Initial Review" with last updated date 03/14/2011.

I got my approval letter this Tuesday dated September 29!!! I'm so happy!!!

I am still waiting for mine. Its been 6 months and 15 days that i am waiting for a response. I check online everyday and it says they received it on March 14th but still no update. Does anyone knows where they currently are?? From i last read on here, someone posted they were working on the February applications, I am assuming I am March 14th because that's what the update says when received. I am a bit worry its taking a long time.

I totally understand you. This hole waiting is so frustrating... I'm tired of my morning routine that includes going to the mail to check my PO Box, check the USCIS website, my emails and this forum. It's almost October and only the 50% of us have received the approval... Im so mad!

Biometrics done today... It was pretty smooth and quickly...

I received my biometrics appointment yesterday!!! The date is for 04/04/2011

I got my NOA! ... the date on it is 03/07/2011

My check was cashed!!! 03/12/2011

Did you send a sheet explaining why you filed separately, if not be on the lookout for a RFE. Joint Tax transcripts are the best evidence one could submit. and that might affect your ability to apply for citizenship in 3 years, as you will need to submit 3 years of joint tax return.

Katiemanny you are not a very positive person ... I hope I wont get a RFE just for not sending one of the many documents requested...

I sent 2 affidavits, but no tax returns, we fill them separately.

The same happened to me and i refiled the form on Oct 8, but i HAVEN'T RECEIVE the Receipt Notice yet!!! I called the 1-800 number and the said that i have to wait at least 30 days, but i'm so worried.

Any one in the same situation??

I was freaking out a bit so my wife called USCIS to see if they had any information on us. They told her they had absolutely 0 information about us and no case was even pending.

About 2 hour ago she calls me and says that our attorney's phone number is out of service. What?? Are you kidding me? I dialed the number and low and behold it is disconnected.

1 Hour ago my wife calls back and says she made contact with our attorney. Whew!!!!!!!!

The news she gave me frustrates me. The attorney claimed she moved offices a few days after we dropped off everything to be filed (October 17th). She claims her secretary had my file and FORGOT to mail it out!!! She then gave my wife a tracking number and said that it was mailed out 2 days ago (coincedence since I called her yesterday? You decide.) I check the tracking number for USPS and it is only SCHEDULED to be picked up as of right now!!!!!!!!

So had I not called after being nervous waiting 4 weeks - Who knows how long it would of taken her to actually mail out our packet!!!!! I am sooooooooooooo angry at the lack of professionalism displayed on her behalf and cannot justify paying the amount we have paid her only for her to make such a novice mistake.

She knows we have been hurting financially (2 kids and us to feed, dress etc.) and how I have been waiting my best to get things rolling so I can work. To have this 1 month set back is devastating.

I feel ill right now.......

Wow!! That is so frustating! I am really sorry for you.

Now you just have to see the good side, you are starting the process!

I didnt use a lawyer because we couldn't affort it, so I did it myself making a lot of research here in the forums, and that sometimes scared me thinking about lose all that money if the forms were denied for some stupid mistake.

Now keep us informed about any new information about your case.

Hi everybody, this is my first post too!

I sent all my forms on Oct 18, them were received on Oct 21. I received the NOA for i-130 on Nov 1st but I didn't receive one for i-485, instead I received the i-485 Notice of appointment for biometrics on Nov 7. I was pretty desperate waiting for i-485 NOA so i called the customer service number and they told me that I have to wait at least one month to be taken seriously.

You can try calling this number and see if there is any luck.

Dont panic, everything is going to be great.
