My AOS was touched today. Probably the same as everyone else - moving from one pile to another. Oh well, at least I know someone has touched it.

hi envy me..please update my timeline. I got my AP on Dec. 9 and my EAD on Dec. 13...I'm so happy, now I will apply to get my Social security card then apply for a job. Yay!

Hi guys, i just wanna share to everyone that I got good news today.. I received email from CRIS that my I-765 card production ordered and my I-131 was approved. I'm so happy with this news....Can't wait to have the card in my hand....

Thanks! Yeah, I already signed up to that website. I thought, it's from other site, but anyway, thank you. I'm just hoping I'll receive EAD soon. Is it right to contact uscis hotline just to ask about the status coz my case was never touched since I got my biometrics. I hope my papers are moving...

I have some happy news today

I just got 2 emails from CRIS. One says that my EAD card production has been ordered. I'm so happy about that. That means I can contact my previous employer soon (where I worked before my 90 day EAD expired). They said they would rehire me. And if they don't, I'll have to go job hunting again. But at least SOMETHING is happening and I won't have to sit here and be bored much longer.

The other email said that my AP has been approved too. I don't have any travel plans, but it's good to know that that is on its way too. I have a very sick grandfather back in Holland and it's good to know that if anything happens, I can fly there.

So this is probably my little bit of excitement for today. For those of you who are still waiting, I hope you will get some positive news soon too.

I think that is because your case was transfered to CSC. Lucky you! We are in the same situation as Gel and with a similar timeline. 0ur case is still pending with NBC ( I guess ) without so much as a touch since they received it .

Yes my case was transferred to CSC. Is it really advantage if our case is transferred to CSC? Well, mine it's just the I-485 that was transferred but my EAD, i haven't receive any touches after the biometrics shedule. I just hope we'll receive it really soon...

Wow! it took you guys like 76 days to have the EAD that's nice. By the way, where do u find that email from CRIS? I've been reading lots of their timelines that they got email from CRIS? Can we do that to ours too that if we will be receiving our EAD then we will also received email from CRIS?

That's what I'm waiting too. I submitted mine end of September and until now I haven't got it yet. It's been almost two months since we submitted it. They said it will take 60-90 days for the EAD, and if you're lucky they will send it to you like 2 months. I'm hoping I will have mine by the end of this month or first week of December. I hope for that...

Hi..I'm from Wisconsin too and I already submitted AOS application. What I use in my application is that, I used my married name. I did not use my maiden name anymore, but instead I used my middle name. I hope I will not have any problem with that. This is what my name looks like. Tell me guys if i will be having problems in the future with regards to the name I used.

Example:

Maiden name: Angelica Marie Perez

AOS application used name: Angelica Marie Smith

What I did is that I did not use anymore my maiden name but I still used my middle name which is Marie. Will I be having problem about it too? Also when I applied for SSN, it's my AOS application name I used...

You are correct in using your desired (married name) for your AOS application. It's when you are approved at your interview that you may be forced into changing it. Don't be too surprised if they make your name "Angelica Smith".

Thanks! Yes, it won't be a problem for me if they I won't be using my middle name anymore but mostly here in the US they put their initials on their middle names. Anyway, thanks that it won't be a problem to me and that I'm using the correct desired (married name). Shocks! it's a lot confusing with the use of names... Thanks guys!

I think the safest way you need to do is that you just purchase ticket that's the same name on your passport so no hastles and questionings. Just a thought!
