Hi VJ's! Me and my daughter came to U.S. as k1 and k2. We went to social security unfortunately they only give my ss# and they told us that we need to go or call homeland security to ask authorization so the ss office can give my daughter an ss#. Why? Can u give me any information or advice regarding this matter. Lastly, do I have to file aos also for my daughter or she is automatically an American citizen because her father is a U.S. citizen? I know we have to get marry within 90 days, do we have to wait for any documents before we can get marry or just go to any city hall and bring my passport? Hi VJ friends. I had my interview and my 1yr old daughter last march 12,2014 in U.S. embassy Manila. After my interview the lady told me we were approved and just wait for our visa but until now we haven't receive it yet. It's more than a week now. It's a k1/ k2 application

My question is how long do we have to wait before we get our visa? And do we have to pay for the mailing of our visa after the interview ?

However, me and my daughter have the same receipt # in other words i only used i receipt in paying our visa. What will I do? I cannot make an appointment in my daughters name it won't go through.
