I don't think getting an answer to this question will be of any use whatsoever. It depends on the POE and the time of day (what flights have arrived beforehand (where they are coming from)). I landed late at night in Newark and waited for around 20 mins then spoke to the guy for 1 minute.

what is ijors list?

good topic. useful to read

how does one know you want to marry said person / at the very least have a relationship / move to a different country for them before you have even met?
Some things baffle me, or are folks doing k1 for other reasons? If so please don't start threads like stating 'we haven't met yet.'
It just sounds rediculous

maybe i'm in a bad mood tonight, but my answer is to look on the internet. It's all on there
-
i agree with you yankeelimer, oh and i've been in the US for 7 months on vwp's while the process is going through for reasons you mentioned
-
i just had a good experience with the email code and with getting a response.....not to my liking though....along similar lines of plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz can i have an interview sooner. no dice
-
i had to wait three weeks for mine (31 may.) I would imagine you need to take both police certs. Ring up and book the medical then cancel three days before if it hasn't arrived. They won't be out of pocket - loads of ppl are happy to take cancellations.
-
i've even been there several times when not working and it's been fine.
-
yeah this topic has been done to death. 3 week visit from a vwp country national is nothing....Unless you make it look/sound like something is 'off' when you talk at the immigration desk there shouldn't be any problem. Leaving from a different place doesn't make any difference
Maybe it's just me thinking everyone gets too worked up about the VWP. I've used it 27 times in the last 5 years spending over a year and a half in the US on it. Never been asked more than..how long visit..purpose...what do u do? Never had to provide proof of anything
-
i have been to the US 26 odd times in the last 5 years on the VWP with no issues, this is one last entry on the VWP before arrival on k1.
But away from my personal circumstances I am just anxious to know what happens when you are denied VWP entry at a pre clearance location.
cheers

Hi everyone, have been a VJ member for a while and this is my first new topic so please bear with me.
Have read the discussions on this topic before but just hoping for some clarity on this exact question.
QUESTION. What happens if you are refused entry under the VWP at Ireland pre clearance? (UK citizen awaiting packet 4 in k1 application.)
Stamp in the passport / entered into US immigration system / you withdraw application for entry and nothing happens?? As far as I have read it should not affect the k1 visa application.
Please help me out with the above question with as much info as possible..For eg if you haven't checked bags and you can withdraw application...do you literally turn around and walk off if they deny?
Thanks

When u get noa2 from then on you can track with the national vise centre on (603) 334-0700. THink it's option 1 then 0 (or the other way around) to talk to a visa specialist. They can tell you when they're received it, processed it and sent it. From then it's the state dept on (202) 663-1225. They can tell you when NVC sent, consulate receive, consulate log, consulate send packet 3, when they receive yours, when they receive medical results and when they book interview...everything basically.
post noa2 is a much easier wait in my opinion as in a month a lot should happen and you can track it at every stage if you wish.

as mrs o says u have to go back...if that's correct i don't know but what's the point then? might as well do the k1. I'm not the expert on this...but as far as I know entering the US as a tourist (maybe other visa types as well?) with the INTENTION of marrying is visa fraud.
If u enter and happen to decide out of the blue to marry within 90 days then that is fine...Hard to prove either way,,big grey area..of course posting such a question on the internet wld make it hard to convince the US that you just decided after u turned up.
i may be wrong on the above
now i've read again and u spec asked abt entering with the INTENT. If u inted to arrive in US to get married then u need a K1 which....as we know...entitles u to enter the US to get married.

congrats and all. I know it's exciting but I've just got to say I'm getting annoyed with people using this forum to inform the web site of their approval. It's not exactly a discussion is it and most 'announcements' are of no use to anyone to read. sorry

good discussion. normally everyone on here is so fruity,,, how come some countries have alot more applicants than others?

hello all. i know this is a bit premature since i'm still waiting on the NOA2, but my fiance was laid off from his job in the UK last month and is now searching for a new job. he planned on coming over to the US with his savings for us to get started with, but has had to tap into that for rent, bills, etc.
although we are both anxious for him to arrive asap, he wants to work for at least 6 months and save some money before moving over here. does anyone know if we can delay the visa approval....like maybe putting off the final interview. i know the visa is good for 6 months once issued, but if it gets approved, it means he cant leave england to visit me, right?
i welcome all suggestions/advice

in the past, i thought they were the ugliest, stupidest things ever. but my fiance got the idea to have an ugly christmas sweater party from bridget jones. i thought i was going to have a hard time finding one for each of us, but boy, was i wrong. ebay was crammed with listings for "most hideous christmas sweater" and "ugly christmas sweater party winner" etc. so i got us two beauties. they're awful...but it should make for a good party and a few laughs!
