  1. You need to submit the most recently filed return. As long as that shows income equal or above the 125% figure you are ok. I-134 is just for the K1/K3 process. It "dies" at AOS.

For the AOS you will complete the I-864. Same income requirements. A more binding obligation for the sponsor.

Thanks for the reply. Which of my many "incomes" is the one the evaluate? My company gross? My company net profit? My personal draw from the company? My taxable income? I write off as many of my living expenses as I can, so this becomes important to know. Any advice from the experts?

    Thanks!

  2. Hi All,

I'm wondering how best to complete the I-134. I'm self-employed and I can choose between this year and last year's tax return as I haven't filed this year yet.

Last year I had a higher personal income, but less gross income. This year I have much lower personal income, but 50% higher gross revenues. Which will best suit the I-134 form?

Personal income was lower this year as I did a better job of sheltering my income in business expenses.

    Thanks much

  3. Hey all,

My fiance's older daughter is 22, married, and deaf. The marriage is falling apart, and I'm wondering if there is an exception to the 21 and married rule that we can take advantage of because she is deaf. Work options in Russia will be very limited for her. It is possible that she will arrive on her mother's door step the day before Mom moves to America.

I'm looking for advice on my options from you experienced folk.

    Thanks much!

    Darren
