I tried many times but I can't see it and it says "no image to be dislayed".

and I changed my profile picture but after apploading it says "contact the board administrator"?

I am still pretty new to the community and I have a lot of questions. My fiance and I filed for the K-1 last month, however, he is in the US Army and he may be sent overseas this March for 6 months. Would we have to change some information on the sheets, or what should we do if there is anything we can do? >___<

My husband (then fiance) did not have the deployment orders yet but he was certain of the deployment and he faxed a letter to the USCIS stating the reason for expedite. Our case got an expedited approval because of the letter. It was a very simple letter and there was nothing technical about it really.

This is the letter he sent -

To whome it may concern,

My name is __________. I am an __His Rank__ and Bettalion/unit__. I am requesting a military expedite for my fiancee ________. I am being deployed for the 3rd time. This will be the 2nd time i will have gone to Iraq.

I am asking for this expedite because _____we just stated the reasons how it would affect us and our relationship, in terms of communication while I am in another country and he gets deployed. Also being married is important and for me to have time to settle down here before he leaves so I can learn my way around and all the other necessary paperwork can be taken care of as its a huge change for me too.

__ Also stated my responsibilities as a military wife once he's gone and that he needed me here to take care of the house, dogs etc.

__ Just ended the letter by asking USCIS to consider the expedite so he could keep his head in the fight instead of constantlly worry about me coz I am still in another country and we are not able to get married in time.

This is all we sent and were approved in 3 days. As long as you are certain that he's getting deployed, you can send a letter too. All the best.

If you have an outstanding RFE from the USCIS that has not been properly answered.... there will be no going to NVC...

you mean I will not have RFE when my case will be on NVC??

My Fiance is an Army too!!!I am one of the November filers of 2008.Got our NOA1 on 11/07..

he said he will be deploy in Iraq next year while I am under K1 Visa, but he said he will ask for expedite process..

But the main requirements for that is a deployment orders,,so while my baby doesnt have yet his deployment orders,we can' ask for expedite process..

There is a military helpline check it out, you can find eveything about that here,,www.uscis.gov

Congrats on all the NOA1s... just remember, a few months of waiting and then you'll be busy preparing for the big interview and move! Some could call the preperation exciting..

I've been really bad lately with being prepared for the next step. I did want to send off for my police certificate but it asks for more passport photos that need signing and I also have to travel to another town to get my vaccine information. We spent so long getting the petition ready and making sure everything is ready that I can't be bothered to do any more paperwork! But it's what we have to do.. this week, I will accomplish!!

well you will recieve a letter from the embassy (packet 3)then they have instruction that you need to do next..

but before that if you can try to call the NVC hotline then asked them about your case,they will just need your reciept number(from NOA1)and your name and your hubby,birthdate.then after that they will tell you if they already sent your case to Embassy here..

Hopefully he wouldn't answer a question like that in a public forum.

I thought about the expedite as well before I deployed but you might want to think about is that the route you want to take since he will be deployed do you want to be here alone. Its easy to file it now then get an extension from the embassy cause of deployment.

I have never meant to put him under so much pressure (if that's what it is).

I just wanted to make sure that I will be alright all alone in a foreign country.

I feel so bad, I did not mean to do that to him. And he could have told me.

I just thought that it's okay for me to tell him that in order to find the best apartment in a good area and all that ...

I feel left alone and I wonder what I did wrong. And his answer is: You did not do anything wrong. But how could that happen then?

I would like us to just be happy again and be ready to plan our future together. I do not like that he gives me 6 weeks to wait for an answer. I think it is really bad. But I have to do it because that's how he wants it. And I made a "plan" before which he did not like, so he made a "plan" and I was ok with. Just because I have to be ok with it. What if I say that he has to give me an answer sooner? What will it do to him? I dont know, so I just take it and wait and hope it turns out well. I would like to see him as soon as possible. I suggested him that I visit him in December and stay in a hotel for that time. Like that we can be together but still apart if he wants to be. Because he can always go back to the barracks. But he did not like that idea. He wants me to wait and figure it out by himself. So there is nothing I can do about it but wait ...

I'm deployed to the Middle East as well. No expedite, didn't apply and wouldn't qualify.

Hi Everyone,

I'm just curious. I recently received my NOA1 on 11/14. It was received on 11/7 and my check was cashed on 11/11. I registered on USCIS.GOV in order to track my petition. When I enter my receipt number (yes, I double-triple-quadruple checked), I get a "validation error". Is it too soon for me to expect to see my case online?

what is POE?????

Hmm I think people forgot to mention that you will need to talk to a person at NVC as K-1's are not entered into the automated system.

You need to call NVC 603-334-0700. Press 1 and then 5 to talk to someone.

You will then be asked for the petitioner's name and DOB and then the beneficiaries name and DOB. If they have received your approved petition (usually in a matter of days for VSC filers and soon thereafter for CSC...usually ) they will give you a new case number.

If they tell you that your petition has been sent off to the Consualte then you can track your petition with DHL to find out when it arrived at the Embassy abroad. Usually within a matter of a couple days. Please use the search option to look for threads on how to do this.

How you obtain the forms depends on which Consulate you are going through. Most forms can be downloaded but every Embassy is unique in their requests so it's important to check with others who went before you. There is a great reference in the Regional forums for Manilla so you will be served well to visit there and have a look.

At November 10, 2008 7am US Embassy Manila

I am so happy our long wait is over! Thank God and to my loving fiancé…I am soon to be with u!

I arrive at the embassy at 6:15 am. Fall in line in the Immigrant/K1/k3 visa lane. The guard check my appointment letter and proceed to Gate 2. Follow the blue arrows then sit down in the blue chairs upon entering the area. The guard made us fall in line in the left side counter (near the bathroom) to get stub number. Here you are going to prepare appointment letter, two copies of DS 156, two copies of DS 157, and 1 copy of DS 136k. Sit down and wait for my number to appear in the queuing board. I was called for window 25 for pre-screening. A kind filipina lady in her middle age greets me with a smile. She asks questions like how old is my fiancé and me, if we have been married or if I have children before, his dates of trips in the Philippines, his job, where did I met him and what site. She asked for my birth certificate, NBI clearance, and affidavit of support with employment letter, income tax return and W2. She asks if I have cenomar but I said I don’t have it, she said it’s ok. Wow it must be my lucky day! For proofs of relationship she only asks for PICTURES! That’s all and I brought a lot in my folder! Glad it all went well though. The pre-screening took only less than 3 minutes then I was asked to sit down and wait for my number to appear in the queuing board again. After wards I proceed to number 31 for the consul interview. This is the scariest part of the day! A nice man in his middle age years appears to me and asks to raise my right hand to swear if all my information are correct. He asks the same questions just like from my pre-screening interview. He checked my pictures too. Then he said Ma’am your visa is approved. I thank him a lot with a smile... Thank God…

I waited for my name to be called then proceed to window 37. The lady gave me instructions how to pay delbros. Then I went to the delbros counter and paid Php250. That’s it! I’m done. I head to the exit with a gleeful smile.

I first looked for food because I was so hungry and then called my fiancé to relay the BIG news. We are very happy…:dancing:

well now you have NOA2,all you can do is wait the letter from the US Embassy in Manila and they will send it to you to your home address(make sure its srtill your address) and on that letter you will recieved they will tell you that you need to complete your requirements and to call their phone number to ask for appointment(interview)

Hi guys, unfortunately, my so called fiance just used me to get here. She said that she would just pay me to help her stay here. This got me so mad, is there anyway for me to get her banned from ever coming back here to the states? I'm going thru the worst times of my life right now and I would appreciate any help.
