Hi maika tereza...The GC lottery winner don't need Affidavit of Support from the sponsor...Actually the DV winners they do not need sponsor from USA or any country But but they have to get the address for receive the GC. "The DV winner is self petitioner"...In my experience my region is Africa and they do not request the Affidavit of Support...Good Luck

Have a question. Does the GC lottery winner need Affidavit of Support Form from the sponsor? If yes , which one I-864 or I-134? And
except the civil documents are there any other documents or forms needed?

Congratulations... maika tereza...First of all she have to send the DS-230 Part and Part 2, DSP-122, Two (2) photographs and the bar code page...The next step she obtaining her civil documents (It is strongly recommended that she begin this process early)...and wait the interview appointment schedule. *** Please check carefully the forms which is DS-230 Part and Part 2 and DSP-122...Good Luck!!!

Hi everyone
. I am almost DONE. My interview was on FEB 1st. Appointment time 9:15 I was in around 9:20 let say. He was young guy.Asked me " Is it the test difficult". And I said NOO :)BUt don't give me the thoughest questions :)Then he said OK first I need you to swear then I am going to ask you questions from the form N400. He asked for my Passport and my huby passport and our child birthcertificate. Thеn he said it is time for the questions from the test.The questions:
1. Name one of two longest rivers - I answered both / Missouri and Mississippi
2. What is the name of the Speaker of the House of Representatives now? - Nancy Pelosi
3. When was the Declaration of Independence adopted? - July 4, 1776
4. What is the economic system in the United States? - I answered both / capitalist economy, market economy/
5. What do we call the first ten amendments to the Constitution? - the Bill of rights
Then he passed me over one paper to read one sentance and another paper to write the sentance " Independece day is in july"
And THATS IT - nomore than 20 minutes. The interview does not hurt at all. And that guy was frendly
I received my Oath ceremony lettter on saturday FEB 6. My oath ceremony is scheduled for FEB 19th

Looks like USCIS / FBI is in a giant slow-dwon mode ..... things were moving quickly before .. like 3 weeks for interview post biometrics but not sure (other than holidays) what is slowing stuff down.
We did fingerprints just about 1 week ago (Dec 4) ... was hoping for interview before end of year ....
Nothing anyone can do but wait for a bit ......
Looks like we are all in a "quasi" stuck mode!
Here's hoping that things "come alive" and start to speed-up!
In N400 - november 2009 list , theres is one applicant who has interview date already. So I don't thing the thanksgiving weekend is the issue. But whatever it is........ We have to wait

Have you guys thought of calling the FBI to make sure they received your prints? I read somewhere in another forum that there was a problem with prints a little while ago. Not sure of the number but if you do a search here on the board it should come up for you. Hopefully you will be getting something soon.
I called FBI they said same day fingerprints was sent to USCIS. they also said there is name check as well.. FBI no longer gives information for the name check stuff so I called USCIS about name check they said I have to wait for letter from them

Same here....Interview was Nov 17, and I haven't heard back yet.
I don't think it's reason to worry. after all, Thanksgiving was not long ago and I am sure they are pretty low staffed at this time of year (given that many people take vacation).
Our time will come.....

IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY ACT
INA: ACT 319 - MARRIED PERSONS AND EMPLOYEES OF CERTAIN NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
(a) Person whose spouse is a citizen of the United States, or person who obtained status as a lawful permanent resident by reason of her status as a spouse of a United States citizen who battered him or her or subjected him or her to extreme cruelty, may be naturalized upon compliance with all the requirements of this title except the provisions of paragraph (1) of section 316(a)*. if such person immediately preceding the date of filing his application for naturalization has resided continuously, after being lawfully admitted for permanent residence, within the United States for at least three years, and during the three years immediately preceding the date of filing his application has been living in marital union with the citizen spouse, who has been a United States citizen during all of such period, and has been physically present in the United States for periods totaling at least half of that time and has resided within the State or the district of the Service in the United States in which the applicant filed his application for at least three months.
I THINK THERE IS NO REASON TO WAIT EXACTLY FULL 3 YEAR OF MARRIAGE. YOU CAN APPLY 90 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE ISSUANCE OF YOUR FIRST GREEN CARD

I just wonder, Do I have to send all these docs attached to my application N400
- Copy of drivers licenses;
- Car insurance notices;
- Copies of our credit cards;
- Letter confirming our joint account;
- Insurance statements;
- Marriage license;
- Copies of our passports;
- Certificate of Marriage;
- W-2 Forms and Tax forms;.... ETC
OR...... Just to provide them to the immigration officer during my Naturalization Interview ?

The notice for card production was on november 6th, And I got the approval letter on monday november 10th in the mail.
Then on USCIS web site there was a notice
