    My worry is that if I will get pregnant during our third meeting in Philippines and I am planning back to UAE to continue my working visa and we process our K1 in USEM in Manila, Philippines. I don’t know how much time this visa will take and hope it will not take too long so I can be with my babe :-)

      hi ... if u are going back to UAE, why process in Mla? ... its so much easier process at UAE & very simple medical comparing to what am reading at PH forum. Anyway, what ever suits u but this is base on our experience and not to mention the hassle u go through by flying back to PH/UAE should it requires your presence.

      ohh well...

      ours is 3 months from NOA2 to visa approval. u can check our timeline for reference. hope it helps. wish u all the best :)

    I'm Home! I was stuck in Chicago bcoz my flight from Chicago to Greenbay was cancelled bcoz of snowstorm but everything went fine when i decided to take a road trip. :D Goodluck to all!

    Is there anyone there knows that if a K1 Visa is approved in UAE, is it ok to travel from the Philippines going to US instead from UAE to US? Is there any rule that a fiance(e) should travel from the place where the K1 Visa approves?

      was on my annual vacation tapos dna ko bumalik. d ako payagan kung mag-resign kya ayun... at the most, theyd want me to stay til 3 mos more.... eh mag-expire na visa ko nun so i have to go.

      i did exactly like this.... got my visa in uae and left from ph..(home for 20 days).. the only hassle is....u gotta go through the CFO seminar. No rule as to where to flying from so lng as ur visa is valid for entry. best of luck to ur journey

    The CO gave me a blue card that says Passport, tuesday Jan. 2, 2011 @ 2 pm. Am I approved?? I asked the guards and they all said you are 200% approved when I showed them the card. :D I will celebrate in my heart when I am able to see the visa in my passport next week.:D Gooodluck to all and Godbless

      congrats!! if it says....pp on jan 25...then ur ok..the visa will be there. hard to tell ha?....thats why...i firmly asked the CO if i passed or not b4 walking out the door. ^_^ ... cheerss!!

    do we need to notarize the fiance letter of intent here in UAE? I already sent my fiance letter of intent to my babe in USA. What about my babe? Does he need to notarize also his fiance letter of intent? Please need help. Thanks

      both DONT need to notarize it.... just for the record, we had our I-134 notarized.

    i'm new here in visajourney. Right now, we are processing our K1 visa application but not sure where to apply it. Im living and working in UAE but I was born in Philippines. My fiance and I met here in UAE. Im confused where we will apply our application, US Embassy in Manila or in Abu Dhabi. Based on the members review regarding these two embassies, US Embassy in Manila has fast approval and shorter time to get your visa compare here in Abu Dhabi. I need help. thanks.

      id say Abu Dhabi, UAE is smoother... took us only 33 days approved on visa petition...medical is cheaper and simplier (only xray, urine, and blood test).. took us only 4 months from approval to getting my visa on hand. infact, it could have been just 2 months but UAE sets the schedule for the interview....goodlcuk
