I used to have problem in my laptop's hard drive, been fixing may times but didn't work properly. So what I did I just brought new hard drive and thanks GOD till now it works so great for me, I think you better just let her buy new hard drive. It doesn't affect much in your pocket anyway....

In short, Inday, living in Western Visayas, renewed her passport at regional DFA office which is about one hour (one way) from her residence. However, despite passport having been renewed and despite Inday's now multiple trips to DFA, DFA agent & manager absolutely refuse to give Inday her passport until she attends CFO seminar in Manila or Cebu. She will do so, of course, in due time but at this time potential multiple trips back and forth from her province to Manila or Cebu is non-trivial. Previous VJ posts and other internet sites describe same situation/frustration for many individuals. In many of those cases, individual resolved by re-doing passport application and writing reason for travel as "tourist" and were only then given their passport then that individual, uh, conveniently "forget" about tourism plans and focused on visa journey. Integrity and honesty are extremely, extremely important to Inday and myself so that solution is not desirable. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

This happened to me a while ago also. Been there 3 times already back and forth till I changed my purpose of getting passport to TOURIST and OMG!! that was the only time they said you are APPROVED to get and have your passport. grrrrr they even told me to attend CFO seminar 1st before applying. I was fortunate enough when one of my friend told me to re- apply  and put the purpose into TOURIST.

So, for those who are going to get their passport this would the best trick I can give to you......

Since before New Year's, it has been nearly impossible for my calls to go through to my fiancee in Cebu. A few times the calls went to completely random people. I have tried all hours, and at first the calls would go through in the afternoon (Ph time) but the past few weeks none of my calls will go through at any hour.

Is anyone else experiencing this? What is up with the Ph phone system? Any help would be appreciated.

Got the wife plane tickets goin' from Manila to Detroit then to Norfolk Va. Has anyone been through immigration in Detroit lately? if he isn't sending you money, in my opinion, he is just using you to occupy his time... he is lonely. 4 years and can't make the trip to the RP? there is no excuse for his absence. i work full time and within a 15 month period made 5 trips to the RP.

Hello DeDixon Yes he is supporting me all the way... sending 2 or 3 times a month for my personal allowance, bills, foods and everything. Atlast by this year he will be coming over...,, He just fix some important papers before coming over.....I just want to exercise my self and to practice my professon while waiting for him but we really have a time conflict, I already quit my new job... So far nothing change and I am now happy for my decision...

Hello yes for 4 years a very long time already,,,, huh I cant imagine I able to handle this kind of situation LDR for about 4 years.... We used to called husband and wife even if we are still engaged.............I think nothing wrong about it as long as theres true love in it......
