Yeah i got my visa!

We've been waiting for our visa for exactly 2 weeks and five days now. I believe getting a pink slip doesn't assure an approval, i dont know..

I'm already 21 years old! Okay here's my case.

My grandfather petitioned us, my name was not included to the letter given by embassy. (that was given on Oct.10) Then my father asked why my name wasn't included, they said that because i was already 21 years old. (that was the age limit.) Only my younger brothers were included and my parents of course. After some conversation, they added my name on the letter, because somehow i was still on the age bracket because of the 45 days rule. (i became 21 on sept 28, the letter was given Oct 10, hence it is not yet over 45 days so i'm still included.) After that, everything went smoothly and recieved a pink slip (only) on Oct 23.

Okay here's the thing, IT WILL BE MY 45th DAY AS A 21 YEARS OLD TOMORROW!! Does that mean that i will not be eligible anymore to receive a visa? I don't know if any of you guys know the answer, because i guess my personal case is pretty rare. But still, any reply will be highly appreciated.

I really don't know what to do now.

Wow.. Thank you very much. Ok i'll update you if things will work out (or not.) Well actually i really don't care that much about WHEN will i get my visa. I just want to know if i will get one, just an affirmation on that question will definitely put a big smile on my face.

My guess is that you will be able to go. The Child Status Protection Act allows you to subtract the time that it took INS/USCIS to process the petition for your father's benefit. My guess is that it took than 2 weeks (usually year to six years). Since you took affirmative steps to with the embassy, you will be protected.

the reason why your name is included in the petition is cos when the petition was approved you're not yet 21 yrs old..??

I was interviewed on November 4 , I got my visa this morning November 6 @ 9am .

I did not text Delbros hotline coz i lost my celphone a day before my interview. So to track my visa I used the online shipment tracking service @ www.delbros.com - MNL2008******01 but i dont see any status. I was thinking that the online tracking service is not working coz the delbros guy delivered my visa today.

I hope you all get your visa soon. The guy from Delbros had 2 backpacks filled with similar package as the one i received. When I signed the the paper, I tried scanning the list of names below the box where i could see mine. I saw packages for "Carrier Crew CN" (not sure of the exact name but i guess its for the seafarers agency) and a girl named Dionisia Tega or Tena. I live in Bangkal Makati so maybe thats why I got my visa delivered early.

Im looking at WAYBILL from Delbros and the DECLARED VALUE of my visa package is P10,000.00 ....what?? 10 thou only ..hehe.

Have you received your visa already? I believe the visas are released by batch.<<(not sure) I just need some info if any of you received your visa already from delbros.. I'm a bit worried.. well actually a lot.. I've been waiting for 2 weeks now and still nothing.. I'm also tracking it everyday (at least 5x a day), same old -- SHIPMENT IN PROCESS AT THE EMBASSY

dont worry to much, im on my 7 weeks of waiting and some other members here waited longer than me too. so just hang on, soon u will received your visa the less u expected.

yes 7 weeks for tomorrow. but yet im here willing to wait. cuz i know this wait will get over soon, and im still lucky than other who need to have there physical heal for 6 months. look like they are waiting for their NOA2 again. just think about the brigther side we have, though we waited this long now. soon u willl have it, the less u expected it.

They may or may not entertain you depending on their mood as there are numerous calls to them. Often they will ask to call the 1-909 number. But sometimes they do entertain calls coming from beneficiaries. But like what I just said, it depends on their mood. Doesn't hurt to try though. Also have your case number ready.

my interview was Oct. 24th and got visa Oct. 29th.

Five days!? Wow, consider yourself one of the few "blessed ones", if you know what i mean..

my husband's interview was 10/28. we had to get the documents for doc verification ourselves. did u have to do that. we just hand in the docs the other day and now waiting for the visa release.

How did you do DV yourselves?

hello i was interviewed last oct. 24..and my visa was delivered last oct. 31...its one week after my interview...well we just be patient and think that God has a better plan for all of us in this journey...

You may want to ask your petitioner to call the Immigration Unit Visa of USEM to follow up the status of your case.

The number is +63 (2) 301-2000 locs. 5184/5185 and look for Grace or Lorraine. Do note that these extensions are for US Citizens only.

i was interviewed oct 27,2008.delbros texted me yesterday that my visa is in transit

to butuan city, and have my valid id ready. when i checked delbros.com it says SHIPMENT RCVD AT DISTRIBUTION CENTER. Where on the phils are you?

Oh no.. Reading that made my anxiety in a whole lotta level.. I've been waiting for 2 weeks after receiving the pink slip.. I really hope that i can get my hands on my visa asap.

How long does it usually takes to recieve the visa after getting the pink slip?? I've been waiting for 2 weeks now, still nothing. Uh oh, i have a bad feeling about this.
