welll we went to ss office and they said they cant find my hsband in the system, we waited 2 weeks befor we went to get his ssn, now they said they will resubmit his application and try again and we will hear from them in 4 weeks,,, who can i call to find out why my husband is nnot in the system as of now? thanks,, oh hes here on cr1 visa

hey everyone we made it in usa as of july 2 just been celerateing with kids and friends, we arrived at jfk,, it laste abouut 5 mins, they did the poe stamp,, took fingerprints and pic but i dont understand what this 151 stamp is or i-51 or whatever its called, all we see is the poe stamp that they wroote in boxx cr1 thats all we see, is this ok? and also whattts our next step, he came in on a cr1 visa and our 2 year marriagge is july 26

sorry i dont mean to be worried just in shock with all this happy but still in shock,,want to make sure all goes smoooooooooooothe also hossam hes happy hes going home bt its just hitting him hes leaving his family and friends and the only place hes ever known,, any advice to help him! hes happy and sadd

so is hossam and the kids ive already been a zillon times hehhe i use to live in kisssimmee aqnd my roomate worked at apcot so i got in disney world anytime i wanted with his special pass and in could bring friend so on my days off i mostly hung at disney heheheh

we are planning on leaving friday, inshallah we will, and we want to take the 2 babies to disney world sometimes this summer so maybe this summer heehhe

called dhl today cause got email saying that package left the facility so we called dhl andthey said we would recieve our passport tomorrow ,,, wooo whooo!!!!!!!!!!!! did interview june 23 and june 29 we get our passport inshallah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey and congrats to u again! way to go! and no u dont have to have the affidavit of support notorized,, as for the ssn i dont think u can file for it till after your aos because u need to be at leave a perment resident to obtain it but not sure on this one,, hope i helped some

i meant to say were not going into ap hehhe and she told us we woould get visa in 10 days,, i checked embassy website where they have pending cases and our case isnt there ,, so all seems fine, just looking for opinions here thanks

hello everyone,, me being antsy heheh decided to email the embassy on our case and iget this email,..Please note that the case is still pending consular officer’s final review. Your visa will be issued shortly, now i check the ap section on the embassy site and our case isnt there, so i check the dhl and it says delivery as agreed...... well confused here on alll this,, when we did interview she gavv e us no white or pink slip ,, told us we were going into ap,, and get visa in 10 days,, what does all this mean,,,,???? thanks ,,, aishah and hossam

ok i understand and if it comes in 10 days yayyyyyyyyyy ive seen 6 ive seen `14 ,, the point is he was approved which means we can finally relax for awhile!!!!!!!! ive been streessoing so much with this hehehe and now im smiling cause i know my baby comming home, and im staying in cairo till they let him go, the consulate asked me when i was leaving i waslike 2 weeks hehhe which no im not leaving withooout him and she said dont worry he will fly with u ,, at any rate im just glad this part is over

even if it took months im here and not leaving till he comes home, hehehehe

Please bear in mind that just because the embassy is done, when your case is referred back to the DOS/DHS you might still be put in AP...I sincerely hope that is not the case but please don't book flights back to the US UNTIL you have that visa in hand. I speak from bitter experience! I'm a Brit applying from London: I was told I'd get my visa back in two or three days and four months later I'm still waiting, and one rather expensive ticket became even more so...

thank u for ur reply but i been studying my portal for some times like 2 years now..... and every embassy is different and trust me cairo has not a problem telling someone thier gonna go in ap,, im staying positive and im smaqrt enough not to book a flight till i get visa in hand, im here celebrateing with my family and friends and now i got a thorn in my side from this comment, i know u didnt mean to do this but when u see someone happy,, dont throw a monkey wrench in on the day of thier happiness ,k if u are gonna do it at least be kind enough infuture to do it the nexxt day,,and not the day of, finally my first day of no stress nand now u got my mind busy on that one, gee thanks.,, remember this is always a time and place for everything and tact is nice also...........

omgggggggggg i cant believe we did it!!!!!!!!!!! like i was saying shes tough but kind,and you just have to be honest an d straight forward,, she pressed on my age,, and pressed on hossam wanting kids in future, and she just told her i have 3 kids,, aishahs kids,,, why wouldi want more?>?? he stood his ground and we had so much evidence and we were totally organized, and we been through so much together and she saw that,,, he was with me through chemo, surgerys, moms death, kids sick,, allllllll things ,,, and this itself showed her were both strong,,, and willing to be there for each other no matter whattttt.. later i will give full review, but thanks for your congrats!@

hallalh lu ya,, alhamdillah,,, and all blessings to alll in life,, WWE GOT APPROVED!!!ill go in details later as im so tired and so is hossam cause we only slept 2 hours hehehe butt it was an intense interview,, it was american woman did hossam first without me,,, then interviewed me without hossam his last 25 mins ,, mine was 20 minutes,, she was tough but kind, many man y questions, then at end she called us both back to the window and she said i have good news,,, congradulations you have been aproved for the visa! now get ready to go home to ur family!! i said whattttt!! she smiled big and said yes u got approved.. i said are we in ap, she said no neeed for ap ,, im totally convinced,, you will get ur visa in 10 days or less, no need for anymore investigation, its over, i talked to the head consular officer and its over, congradulations to you both,,, me and hossam huged each other and cried so much and when i looked at the window, she had tears on her face and just turned away and i swear thhis so much ,, she was so nice and soft hearted,,,but very firm woman also,,, i respect her so much,, anyway good luck to you all and i will give full report sooon,,thanks everyoneeeeeeeeee

ok hjere it goessssssss,,, we have a co sponsor who meets the 125% over poverty line ,, hes over by 6k and the forms said if the sponsor meets this requirement on income alone then no bank statement needed ,, however i seen many ppl still get them anyway so in a last minute panic i called our sponsor had him scan and send a bank statement to our email,. but all it has is, his average balance, his final balance, and a couple other things, cant remember cause im not stareing at it now an yways,, is this really nessasary to have or what, interview in 2 days if anyone knows anything let me kmnow thanks,
