Is that possible for him to deport me before or after the divorce is final?

I am holding a 2-yr GC and it will expire on June 2011. Can I still file for removing of conditions after all that happened or he can ban me for getting one?

sorry my english so bad hope you understand...thanks and i would appreaciate

    lyn

if he will file for divorce, make sure you request for an attorney. under family code, you can request that so your rights are protected. if your income is less than his, he will more likely be obliged to pay for your attorney. don't worry if he will file divorce, i even think its best for you. he can not deport you. if you have question, about this, message me. take care.

  2. your friend needs to talk to her husband and her husband has to have the balls to tell his witch wife to fudge off and leave him alone. Ex's tend to ruin relationships. Mine got ruined because sadly, my husband chose not to end all ties with his ex-gf even if they have no reason to be communicating with each other anymore.

If she will divorce him, she can do that but she has to have a job and enough savings to self petition herself.

  3. Hi,everyone!

Hi, I am sorry to hear about your situation. Your husband is a scumbag.

Depends what your current status is and what you want to do with your marriage you have lots option. If you want to file for separation, you can do that and request for spousal and child support. If you want an immediate support you can file an ex parte. You can also file for divorce which you have an advantage because you are here. If you could not serve him because he is not responding and he is out of country you could apply for default. What state are you? You could also sue him because with what he stipulated with the USCIS if he is your sponsor.

If you are in CA, PM me I'm a bit familiar with the CA family law. L'll try to help you.

    Good luck.

  4. My husband started to be so defensive when I asked him about the name of the woman who is attached into his address. I got it in the mail yesterday and while he is on travel he instructed me to open everything. Then here comes an unknown name of a woman. I emailed him asking about it no reply. So when we chatted few hours ago. I kept asking wont answer me immediately.

Now, he started telling me his been question of who he is. Good Lord! I was just asking him who she was and why she was still in his account in the credit card since they parted 5 yrs. ago. I do love him so much but I'm not the type of filipina who hide my feelings and wait for it until it explodes. That's hard you know. I was so candid of my feelings but he thought I doubt him. He gave alibis like did he care about my past. We don't talk about ex ex here. I dont want to play blind and deaf as if everythings okay. Wherein fact I am aching inside? No way! I can't do that. I reiterate to him. I am not a nanny nor a housemaid that I wont care about your mail and names of these people on the mail. As a wife , I have the right to know if you don't want that. Why did you marry? lol He was quiet for a moment then told me he is tired and this and that.

Our chat wasn't good so I feel like I started the fight? I didn't do anything to hurt him. All I did was asking him of what I don't know.

I know that bothers you a lot, the two of you need to sit down and talk like adults and hopefully will be over soon. You should also ask him to remove her (the other woman) from his CC account. Don't be accussatory with hm too. You are the wife and you have the right to know the story behind the woman's name in his CC.

Good luck to both of you!!!!

She seemed like she did the right thing. She asked who it was. She wasn't accusing. And oh! I hope he really is somewhere where he told you he was gonna go to. Smells like skunk to me!

  5. Hi all, i am new to the fourms and have a question.

My fiancee in the philippines who i am going to marry next month over there in the philippines is saying that people are telling her that I also need go get a CENOMAR. but im 100% american born and raised. so why do i need cenomar ?

please help my email its craftyone714@yahoo.com

    thanks :)

If you are planning of marrying her in the Philippines, you will need to get a Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage from the USEm. Without this Certtificate, you two will not be allowed to get married or your marriage liscence will not be registered. For Filipino's we need the Certificte for No Marriage which can be requested from the National Statistics Office. These are to make sure that neither of you is still married and still has responsibility for that said marriage and therefore will not be allowed to marry anyone untill you are legally divorced or annulled with supporting documents.

  9. Hi all,

What is the best/fastest way for my wife to mail me the visa forms, etc. from Bislig, Philippines to the United States; and what are the associated shipping times.

Also, what is the best way to mail/ship to Bislig, Philippines from the US--for me sending her mail ans items.

    Thanks Much!

    Steve

She can send it using LBC its popular courier in the philippines and that was what I used to send my docs to the US. LBC will take care of it and will be dilvered to you by a known courier in your state like UPS if there is no LBC there. There are states that have LBC but the state where I sent mine has no LBC so when my mail got there, it was delivered by UPS. It will get there 3 days 5 is the longest. Mine was received in 3 days. I paid a thousand plus pesos to send my docs.

  10. * Appointment letter sent by the National Visa Center or an e-mail print out of your appointment sent by the Call Center or the appointment date shown on our website (http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.htm)

*Once you get to SLEC, they will asked you the letter that the US Embassy sent you. The one that has your case number on it. Some didn't have this, I was one. Now take note. The Security Guards outside can be very insistent in asking for the letter from the US Embassy. You must be insistent too and tell you have the letter that the call center sent you through mail and that you know your case number.

    * Appropriate medical examination fee.

*You will pay in peso not in dollar.

    * Passport (valid for at least 6 months)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT FORGET to bring your passport.

    * Two colored pictures (2 inches x 2 inches) with a white background

These are all you need. Other documents will be needed during the interview.

NOTE: You can schedule your medilcal exam a month before your interview. If you want it sooner, it should be at least a week before your interview because SLEC also need some time to process your Lab Results.

  11. hi! i'm just wondering.. I payed Banco de Oro the amount needed for the interview which is $131.. they gave me a validated DS 137 form.. however, it was just now that i realized that they gave an expired form ( expiry was 09/30/2008). I went back to the bank but they said that they didn't receive any memo yet of the new form so that's what they're still giving out.. i tried printin the new form however, the bank wouldn't validate it because they claimed its a different date already.. they could only validate again if it was on the same date that i paid for it. will my expired form be a problem? help pls.. thanks..

That should be okay. Use that one since that is the one that was validated by BDO. If you will be asked about the expiration date, tell them you already went back to them about it and tell them what they said. Just make sure you have receipt. You should be fine.

  12. Before I went to Manila for my interview, I had everything prepared. There is only one way to find this out:

-Make sure you know all the information that are on the documents especially about your fiance. It is best to know his personal information. Read HIS "I-129F" and "G-325A". Ask your fiance to send those copy to you so you can read them. He had it when he filed the "very famous" I-129F. If they're gonna ask information about him that's gonna be based from these docs. If you dont know this by heart yet, it is best to memorize them.

    * My fiance drilled weeks before my interview. YOU DONT HAVE TO DO THIS, its up to you. He asked me all these questions that might NOT be even ask by the pre-screener or the consul. Example, "what is the middle name of your fiance's mother?" Everything about him and his family he drilled me on that too.

-Bring the letter that the US embassy sent you the one that says that your case is eligible to be scheduled for a visa interview and it has your case number on it. Please READ the letter.

    * This letter is always delayed but some would get theirs too soon, too. So don't fret if you wont get yours yet. I got my copy right after I already had my visa. What we did was, my fiance sent me the copy that the embassy sent him. Yes, he will receive a copy too. Same letter. Addressed to him but under your name. He got his copy earlier so he sent it to me together with the rest of the docs that I might need and it is what I brought with me in the interview since I did not received mine yet.

    - So if you READ the letter that suggested, there is a link there where you can find the interview preparation instructions. This is the link: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html then when you get there, scroll at the bottom and click the one that says" K1 Interview Preparation Instructions (English) it will bring you to this link: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfk1en.pdf where the instructions are.

*The documents that you will need for the interview are listed and each has instructions and discriptions. Please READ IT. Note: there are documents listed that may not be applicable to you. Like the Court and Prison records, other country police certificated (you will only need this if you went to other country or have stayed there and the police certificate must come from that country that your visited) or the prrof of termination of marriage (you wont need this if yo are both single)

-Double check everything make sure you have all the documents you need. I reviewed mine everynight three days before my interview and at that time, I knew my documents were complete and I was ready.

I HAVE A DIFFERENT TOPIC FOR THE INSTRUCTIONS AND WHAT TO DO.

Thank you for the good instructions. My fiance is very nervous. What are some of the questions that they asked so we can prepare and I can calm her down? Is it bad that she has not met any members of my family yet or talked to them on the phone?

Tell her not to worry about not knowing your family members. I didn't know any of my fiance's either, but I did memorize all their names (just brothers and sisters). So, as long as you have your papers all in order, the interview is a BREEEEZE. Trust me. Some questions:

Prescreener asked: What's your peitioner's (or fiance's) name? How old is your fiance? How old are you? What's your petitioner's job? What does he/she do for a living? He also asked about my job because in my bio form I showed I was still working.

Interviewer asked: What's your name? What's your age? Petitioner's age? How long have you known each other? Have you met in person? Are you both single? Did your petitioner come to the Philippines? Let me see your pictures together?

Bottom Line: know all the info in your forms. Because that's the basis of their questions. Hope this helps! Happy Easter!

  13. -Appointment letter sent by the National Visa Center or an e-mail print out of your appointment sent by the Call Center or the appointment date shown on our website (http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.htm) (print out two of these, just in case)

    -Appropriate medical examination fee.

-Passport (valid for at least 6 months)

-Two colored pictures (2 inches x 2 inches) with a white background

    that's it!

  14. So, too much excited to be with my man.. i got confused about baggage. I know i can have 2 free check-in baggage but here's where i got confused.. The allowed weight is 50lbs (23kgs).. is it for each baggage or for the two?

    LOL!!! Thank you. :)

That for each baggage, SJ. :) Also some international airlines allows more than that. If you are from certain city that does not have internation airport, please watchout for your baggage if you still need to fly to Manila or Cebu (which has internation airport) because domestic baggage allowance is only 20 or 23 kgs. Each excess baggage cost 100 or 120 per Kilo.

  15. Tell your fiancee to submit ONLY the papers that they will ask and answer question that they will only ask.

But for sure, those documents listed on the VIsa Interview Requirements, they will all ask them from you unless it is not applicable to both of you. You can go to my Recent topics and read them. I am sure they are helpful.

  16. For the Bank Statements that I am including...is it OK if I just include the front page of the each monthly statement. Some statements have 5 pages. The 1st page shows the balance and is a summary? Is it safe to just include the 1st pge of each?

    Thank you

Why are you sending bank statement? If you meet the income requirements, there is no need for any bank information at all.

Yep, you dont need the bank statement if your income meets the requirements. If your income is enough, then just bring the front pages that has the summary.

Few emails and chats logs or call logs will do. Just choose a very nice conversation that you too have and that would be anough. She does not have have to print all your histry for calls and logs. You dont need to print everything otherwise she will be carrying a lot of papers.

My fiance and I knew each other for more than 3 years before we processed the papers and man trust me the only days that we didnt talk are those that he was on business trips or I was travelling or those when either of us got sick. Imagine if I printed my all my logs.

But then, if you are not comfortable about it, you may choose to do whatever makes you feel safe and secure.

  17. She said Manila was not in a province such as Cavite, etc....is it in a province? If so which one?

    Thanks!

It is a province. Manily City is its Capital and it is the NCR. Like Cebu which is also a province but Cebu City is its Capital.

  18. I took this from one of My post Visa Interview Requirements.

    b. DS-156 NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION.

    * Make TWO (2) Copies. Do not leave any field unasnwered. If it is not applicable to you, write NA otherwise they will give it back to you and will ask you to fill it in completely. If you have question what to information to write, you can PM me. I will try my best to answer it. On question 39, if it is only you and your fiance prepared it, answer NO. Then put NA on Name under Q#40. You dont have to put NA to the questions that follow it. Q#41: Dont forget to sign it. Just sign no need to write all your name and sign.

    c. DS-157 SUPPLEMENTAL NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION

    * Make TWO (2) Copies. Do not leave any field unasnwered. If it is not applicable to you, write NA otherwise they will give it back to you and will ask you to fill it in completely.

    d. DS-156K NONIMMIGRANT FIANCE(E) VISA APPLICATION.

    * Make ONE (1) Copy ONLY. Do not leave any field unasnwered. If it is not applicable to you, write NA otherwise they will give it back to you and will ask you to fill it in completely.

I hereby certify that I am legally free to marry and intend to marry , Complete Name of your Fiance/Fiancee a U.S. citizen, within 90 days of my admission into the United States.

Sign below it write the date and place where your signed it. I know it says: DO NOT WRITE BELOW THIS LINE

The consular officer will assist you in answering this part. I actually did not sign mine when I when I submitted it but they said it should be signed so they have to give it back. Sp just sign it when you are already in the Embassy before you will submit these forms so the date and place when and where you will sign in is current.

  19. Yes my fiance and I had a letter of intent and they asked it from us. So we had two copies, one for my intent to marry him within 90 days on my arrival here and the other was his intent to marry me within 90 days. Same letter content we just changed the name to his for his intent and mine to my intent. We addressed it to

United States Department of Homeland Security where we sent our docs to apply for the I-129 F.

I have a topic for Visa Requirements. Go to my account and click Recent topics. You will find useful info there.

  20. Good luck guys!

    Dont forget the following:

    1. Appointment letter sent by the National Visa Center or an e-mail print out of your appointment sent by the Call Center or the appointment date shown on our website (http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.htm) (Print out two of these just in case)

    2. Appropriate medical examination fee.

    3. Passport (valid for at least 6 months)

    4. Two colored pictures (2 inches x 2 inches) with a white background

You will need your Fiance's address.

  21. Famous? Maybe it simply means that people recognize poor behavior when they see it...and don't like it.
