To all the people who have received their 10 year GC after approval...

Q - for issue date on your card.

There is date on your old 2 year card [issue date (POE) and expiry date].

What are the dates on your new card?

Is it the first time when you received your 2 year card or when they approved your 10 year card?

The new card is good from 10 years from date of I-751 Approval.

Guess they heard/read my complaining. "On July 27, 2012, we ordered production of your new card."

It's good to see VSC approvals finally above 50%, and even one approval for October Filers in their thread already. I'm so anxious for some news, I keep checking the mailbox before the mail has even got there...

10/14/2011 - Received bio letter in the mail.

11/02/2011 - Bio appointment.

Quite encouraging to see all of the walk-ins going so well. I would attempt one too, if the office wasn't 1.5 hour drive away.

I only just made it into the September filers. Send date was 9/24. NOA date is 9/30 (4:59 PM!). No bio appt yet.

OK thanks, I've just mailed them now. Has there ever been any repurcussions with such a delay in filing them?

No, you MUST have your greencard with you at PoE.

Here's the situation:

About a year ago we moved into a different rental that was just a few away from our old one. We still got mail at the old address and everyone knows us, so I forgot to mail in an update AR-11 and I-865 for the new address.

It's coming time to file my I-751 in a couple of weeks and want to know what is best to do about updating our address. Obviously, my physical address and preferred mailing address is our current number. Will there be any trouble having such an old "effective date of change" on the address change forms? I don't want to lie about when we moved, because we have old documents with our new address.

Recieved Greencard in mail yesterday, date on that card says 12/23 so I guess that means they were again slow at updating the website and I was approved the day after they recieved my RFE.

On December 21, 2009, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location.

Here goes ... maybe it will get done before the end of the year.

If their address will remain the same, they do not need to file anything. USC needs to file paper form in the mail and alien spouse needs to file it online and in the mail.

Ahh as if my life hasn't been crazy enough...my hubby just got offered a job 4 1/2 hours from here..we are moving within 2 weeks!

Do I need to do anything with USCIS? Just change of address? Or what?

You need to file form AR-11 with them, and so do any sponsors that have moved address. You need to also change your address online with them. I have to do this too, but I expect things still to be sent to my previous 2 addresses, because USCIS suck.

I doubt it, I finally got my medical to the post office on 12/18 so that should meet their deadline of getting to them by 12/30, but their tracking system says it hasn't left yet. Bah. Final cost was $303 because I needed another Tetnus/Diptheria, I had my TB skin test read at local health department and results faxed.

I'm thinking that the $450 price would be with all the vaccinations but I should be up to what I need with those and have the DS-3025 so the doc can just transcribe that part. Hopefully results will be back quick. Congrats to the interview approvals!

Yes, I did come on K-1 and I do find it crazy, but the results of the medical should have reached them and they clearly somehow didn't. Doctors in london don't keep a copy and the woman at the other end of a $16 embassy phone call said it's unlikely they keep a copy too, and I should email but it could take up to 5 days for a reply. I don't have the time to waste so I'm just sucking up the loss and trying to get it back to them before 30th.

Just got back from infopass in Charlotte. The woman took a few minutes reading through the RFE and confirmed that I do infact need the full medical. Already have an appointment booked for next monday which is the soonest they have. The receptionist said it could cost up to $450 although she has never seen anyone's that high before, and results take typically 2-3 days.

Thanks for the concern everyone.. trying to hold the nerves together.

I made an infopass for monday that I can hopefully make, and plan to ask what exactly is lost and needed, and if they could extend it because of the delays of the holiday season.

I'm also going to book an appointment on monday for the full medical for hopefully around 12th-14th dec, and also contact congressperson to set them on it, london doctors and london embassy to see what we can do.

I figure that there has been many people taking different approaches, I may aswell take all of them.

From the RFE's wording, it makes it seem like they (also) lost the copy of DS-3025 I sent them. In most cases, this form is enough. Hopefully I will be able to make an infopass for Charlotte monday morning and convince wife to drive me there. Nothing is open on the weekend, hate being a sitting duck.

Also thinking about contacting London Embassy and seeing if they can get a copy to me (or CSC) in a sealed envelope of my medical I took there.

When I sent my case, I only included DS-3025 as proof of vaccinations instead of the I-693's vaccination supplement.

Today I recieved an RFE that needs a response by December 30th! It states that I need a "NEW MEDICAL FORM I-693"

It also says "A review of the record indicates that you entered the United States pursuant to a valid K-1 nonimmigrant visa. All USCIS records relating to you have been reviewed. The U.S. Department of State medical forms DS-2053, DS-3024, DS-3025 and DS-3026 are not in any of those records.

I have a few questions:

1. is it likely that I will be able to get a medical in 3 weeks surrounded by christmas?

2. do I actually need a full medical or just the vaccination supplement?

3. is this typiccal of a case where they have lost my medical records and contacting a congressman could recover this (as in another thread), and is this way feasible within the 3 week timeframe?

4. Could I request the doctors office in london fax/mail a copy of my DS-3025 if that is the document they misplaced?

Damn guys.. I gt my RFE and they want a new I-693. And they want it submitted by DEC 30TH!!!!! This is a nightmare for me, I dont even know if I could get an appointment by then?

I'm really worried.
