We met in a chatroom back in August '98. We would meet at certain times of the day to 'chat'. This then soon progressed to emails and by December '98 we were communicating by telephone. We met in person for the first time in April 2000 when he came to California for two weeks to finally meet his online 'friend'. We got along really well and continued our online friendship. In 2001 we officially became a couple and continued our long distance relationship. He proposed to me during one of his visits last year (April 2003). We have decided to get married in the U.S in October 2004.
Update: Ian got his K-1 Visa August 2nd and arrived in California September 16th. We got married on October 9th and we spent a week in Maui Hawaii on our honeymoon-a corner of the world we called "Paradise".
We are now living as Husband and Wife. He seems to be settling in really well. Life couldn't be better.
