I received my wife's green card today . The post finally arrived from USCIS.
Very relieved and happy that this process is complete. For everyone still waiting don't worry yours will be arriving pretty soon.

I just checked the USCIS Web site and my wife's green card was ordered on June 12, 2013 and we should get it in the next 30 days.
I feel everyone else who is waiting for a response will start getting updates. Hang in there.
I will keep everyone updated once we receive the green card.

Hi All,
I just like everyone else is waiting to get the 10 year green card for my wife. I have one concern the expiration of the 60 days letter will approach by June 26th which is almost two weeks away. Do I still wait till the two weeks are over to make an appointment or can I make an appointment right now (Will that even help).
It's taking a while to get the green card and the USCIS site still says Initial Review even though my wife got her approval letter.
Any updates regards this would be very helpful.
Thank you

One more update I looked at the Approval Later and the Decision date was 04/16/2013. Please update with this information.
Thank you,

Hello All,
I have applied for removing conditions for my wife however on March 27th, 2013 we got an RFE. I did collect additional evidence (Listed below) and sent the packent on April 8th, 2013.
Bank Statements showing two years, additional utility bills, lease agreements showing both our names, marriage license, driver's license (Both my wife and mine), green card information includes my wife and me. I am hoping USCIS will not send any more RFE and wishing she gets her Green Card approved. Do you think I will have any issues (I am praying everything works out). I just checked the USCIS Status Website and when I entered in my wife case the site says "Intial Review" I am not sure if USCIS updated the case at this point as I still see the old comments? Any suggestions??
We will be moving to a new residence in less than three weeks if my wife does not get the green card by then and I perform a change of address does or will USCIS see that as an issue? Both my wife and I will be moving to the new location.
Any help or suggestions will be helpful.
Thank you,
Nishi Sundaram

Thanks "Dave&Roza" for the update.
One follow up - You mentioned about the I-865 this form is supposed to be filled by USCIS? or do I need to fill and send the document in?

Regards,
File the AR-11 on-line and print the confirmation page. You are SUPPOSE to notify the USCIS of your address change within 10 days. Just like you are suppose to notify the DMV. Also the USC must file the I-865 form when they change address and have an I-864 in force. That is also supose to be done within 10 days of moving. I personally would file both change of addresses ASAP and then list the new address on the form with the old address as previous. This is one of those small details of this process that most people forget about or did not read about it.

I have the same situation as well. However in this case do you also fill out the "Electronic Form - AR-11" (Change of Address). I read on USCIS.gov that a change of address should be done within ten days of moving to a new address. I have not done that since I moved to the new address. Would it be sufficient for me just to include a separate sheet of paper listing all prior addresses?
Thanks.
The ROC form asks about prior addresses and, if needed, you will just submit a separate sheet of paper listing all prior addresses.

Hello Everyone,
I am in the process of putting all the documents together to send to USCIS California Center for removing conditions for my wife. However with regards to change of address, we moved to a different address during April of 2011 and I have not filled out a change of address online at USCIS.gov. I did read at USCIS.gov that a change of address should be done within ten days after the move, since I have passed the ten days how do I go about filing for a change of address at the moment? Do I simply go on-line and fill out the "Electronic AR-11" (Would this be faster!) Or has anyone else come across a situation similar to mine?
I will be sending all the documents for my wife during the 1st week of August.
I would appreciate any help with regards to updates or help.
Thank you,
Nishi

My wife has her interview for Green Card on 02/11/2010, she will be going to India in December. I wanted to see if it would be ok to book her tickets now. Moreover when will she get her Green Card in hand?
Thanks

I received texts of receipt confirmation from USCIS on Tuesday at 6:30 P.M.

Good to see that both of us have the same timeline.
Thanks,
Nishi
Nishi,
Mine was delivered to the Lockbox on Wednesday, 28th.
My check hasn't cleared yet as well.
I saw another week or so is a realistic timeline for our NOA1(s).
P.S. It's funny how our timelines for K-1 and AOS are almost exactly the same

My check has not cleared the bank yet!
Thanks for your reply "payxibka" that makes me feel a lot better now.

On July 27th, 2010 (Tuesday), I had mailed all the required documents for AOS for my wife to the following address -
USCIS P.O. Box 805887 Chicago, IL 60680-4120 (Mailed using USPS)
On July 27th, 2010 (Wednesday). the package was received by USCIS, however I did not receive any updates on e-mails from USPS or return mail as of yet. Does it take this long to receive an update!
I am getting worried at this point.
Is there a number for the USCIS address where I can call to check if they received the package.
Your posts will be very helpful.

I will be filling my wife's AOS documents with USCIS come July 26th. My fiancee and I arrived in the U.S.A on June 17th, her I-94 expires on September 17th. What happens when I file the AOS documents, especially when her I-94 expires in less than two months. Can she stay in the U.S.A? How does that process work?
Please note: We are married now.

I am in the process of filling out the I-864 form. I do not have sufficient income at the moment. However I will be using a joint sponsor. Will the Joint sponsor be filling out form "I-864" or form "I-864A".
What is the correct answers to the following questions -
Enter the net cash value of real-estate holdings. (Net means current assessed value minus mortgage debt.) - I do own a house worth @ $320,000. What value should I enter.
Your household member's assets from Form I-864A. (Optional) - I will be using a Joint sponsor should I be filling out this section?
Assets of the principal sponsored immigrant. (Optional) - My wife has assets in India, not in the U.S.A. Can I leave this section blank?
Is there any other information I need to add apart from this.
Thanks, (Post your comments)
P.S. I have included my tax returns and W-2's from 2009, 2008, and 2007.
I will include a statement that highlights the balance in my Checking and Savings account as well.
Applying for Indian Visa
in US Citizenship General Discussion
Posted
Hello All,
I am currently going through the process of where I have applied for my US Citizenship. The reason for this post is as I am going through my US citizenship, my Indian passport is going to expire on Dec, 2016. I want to apply for an Indian passport, however is it better to wait till I get my US passport and then apply for a Indian visa or apply for an Indian visa right now?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Nishi
