hello! i just got a call from SLEC & the woman told me that they already have the result but only the doctor will tell me about it & they ask me to go to manila...does this mean that my result is positive?!

plz i need to hear from anybody who had the same situation...i'm nervous & feeling low & disappointed

i took my medical dec 22 & 23 but came back for sputum exam jan 7,8, & 9...thanks for the encouragement piscesgirl! thats what my fiance been telling me & i am trying to be strong...

my fiance wrote E instead of I on my mom's name when he filed for I-129f but on my birth certificate mom's real spelling is I not E...

will this be a problem with USEM during interview?! mom's name is Colita

Minor typos should not be a problem. As long as he got your name right, you should be okay.

I think they will not know it if you will not going to tell on the Medical Exam at SLEC.

Got one friend who had abortion before but she passed the Medical Exam at SLEC.

Do they count it against you if you had one? She should be honest and tell them about it right?

Can they tell if she had one by examining her or by medical records? It was recent that she had one. We are very worried about it.

if ever ur fiancee will be truthful about it during med exam they wont count it against u...but she will probably undergo psychological evaluation its st. lukes SOP...but u dont hav to worry about it...

they gave you a certain date to call them for results. just call them about 10 days before that date.

i just called st. lukes...i talked to a girl frm laboratory...i was kinda shaking while she was asking my name a bit nervous to hear the

result...she asked when is my schedule to call...i told her that i was advised to call earlier & she said to call back 2 days b4 the scheduled date...i'm on my 6weeks now...is that a good sign? i'm feeling a bit nervous...hope to hear frm ppl's good experience with this...thanks in advance!

youre supposed to call them after 8 weeks.

from what i have read from others regarding it you can try to call a week or 2 early to see if the results are in.

u mean 1 wk or 2 from the 8 weeks period? or frm the schedule given by st. lukes? my 6 wks of waiting today...u think i can call st. lukes?

it is better to go to your OB-GYN so that the opinion comes more from a professional point of view. But to share my story, my LMP was June 12. But there was sexual contact about a week before that. Three weeks after June 12th, I took a pregnancy test and it was NEGATIVE. But a week later, I found out I was over a month pregnant. Hehe So it is better to go to your physician. God bless!

so it could happen to me also...hehehe...LMP was a week b4 ur sexual contact but still u got pregnant...was the flow of ur period regular or only in small amount than normal?

Sis u said u got ur LMP Jan 05 after that u didnt have contact, so how come u were pregnant??? all i can say is u are not pregnant

if no contact so dont be worry ..i would say go to ur OB or buy pregnancy test.

Have you scheduled for your interview at the embassy? If yes, then no need to worry about that, bec you have an existing record of active process for your visa (your scheduled interview) and St. Luke's will coordinate with the embassy re your change of interview date. In short the embassy knows you are on the process of your visa requirements and they will give you some leeway for that.

yes i already have scheduled an interview supposedly yesterday...& st. lukes told me that they will re-schedule the interview date...i also called the USEM but i just wanted to hear from ppl who have the same case..

hello! i need some info...validity of our NO2 expires on feb 7,09...the problem is i underwent sputum exam with st. lukes & hav to wait until march for the result...i've read that there will be another 4months extension?! is this true?

hello vj's! i received an email about my supposed interview for 2moro from USEM...i had to undergo sputum exam which everybody know's that i have to wait 2 months for the result...should i be worry about the email? & call st. lukes if they already informed USEM about my case?! i'm kinda worried coz i don't want to have problem with USEM when i have my final interview...i greatly appreciate any replies...thanks!

what is the sputum exam?why do you have to wait 2 months for the results? thats not fair.

Standard procedure if your CXR shows signs of maybe having TB.

thanks for the replies...i can relax now...they found abnormality in my CXR especifically fibrosis (scar) on my left lung..my sputum smear is negative but still i have to wait 2 months for the culture...does anyone here had negative result on their smear but end up positive with the culture?! i hope i get negative result God willing so i don't need to wait longer...

how did SLEC take ur digital photo?! did they ask to show both ears?

i didnt know we have the same post. my passport doesnt have a space for signature but was able to recieve a visa so dont worry about your interview
