  1. When you visit CS with your DS 2053, he/she will let you know whether or not you are missing vaccination [according the US Health Department].. No need to repeat what you already have taken in Brazil. The CS will provide you with a sealed envelope with the necessary documentation [i693 and copy of the DS2053] to present with your submission.

Wow so I really have to send the I693 along with the Ds 2053 ? I am glad to know that because I was only going to send the DS2053 itself ...

    Thanks lots

  4. Praise God. I Offered everything to Him and so our prayers were granted. I was APPROVED earlier this morning at 10:15am. I arrived at 4am at the embassy then 6am we're told to fall in line and prepared my appointment letter. While inside the embassy we were told by a staff to prepare our ds forms: ds-156, ds-156k, ds-157 and appointment letter. If u missed some ds forms the embassy will provide. Then we were in lined for the ticket number. The numbers were called in random order. I guess i waited an hour before i saw my number flashed on screen for finger scanning. Another hour again for the pre-screening, but i am very lucky i was pre-screened by Window 15 and she's very nice and approachable. She asked for NBI, BirthCert., Cenomar, Affidavit of Support, Letters, E-mails, Phone bills and Photos.

    Questions from the Pre-Screener:

    1. what is ur name?

    2. who is ur petitioner?

    2. how did u meet?

    3. what does he do for living?

    4. does he live alone?

    5. are u married before?

    6. do u have children?

    7. is ur fiance married before?

    8. does he have children?

    9. when did u meet in person?

    10. how many times did he visits you?

    11. how many days did he stay in the Phil.?

The pre-screener choose only some letters and photos for the Consul, i was told that if the Consul will ask more proofs of our relationship, ill hand to him what i brought. When done with the pre-screener there were butterflies in my stomach right away but not much. I was a little nervous. Knowing that my co-applicant ahead of me were approved i dont worry much. They said that when all ur papers were complete then there will be no problem and its true, you dont have to worry if u have everything they asked. I waited, at the blue chair, then i saw my number flashed on screen again then i said to myself that THIS IS IT!, I was interviewed by Room 32 as i came in i found an american man seated and waited for me behind the glass. He greeted me Good Morning then i greeted back. He looked at all my documents first then was asked to raise my right hand to swear. Interview begins.

    Questions from the Consul:

    1. what is ur name?

    2. who is ur petitioner?

    3. how old are you?

    4. how old is ur fiance?

    5. how many times did he visits you?

    6. how many days he stayed here?

    7. when did he arrived in the Phil?

    8. what he do for living?

    9. what is his work?

    10. have u been traveling abroad?

    11. have u been in the US?

    12. do u have children?

    13. does he have children?

    14. when do u plan to get married?

    15. when do plan to leave?

After the Consular interview i heard him say. CONGRATULATIONS! YOUR VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED! WELCOME TO THE UNITEd STATES!. i am sOooo happy that i am approved. I said THANK YOU SIR!. then i left the room. i got PINK SLIP from Window 37 and paying for Air 21. i can't hide my happiness from then on and until now i am still in cloud nine. YahOoooo. Lets Party

  5. As yall know my interview was on June 16 I arrived there ealier than expected around 07:00 and I was supposed to be there at 07:45 am but I was too anxious to keep myself inside a hotel room waiting , waiting ... so I had breakfast I took my bag and my big folders with all the forms ,evidences( emails, letters, marriage gift cards and plus other stuffs ) and pictures .

They checked all our names on a list and gave us a number that later one would be the number that the consul would call us for the interview there were about 15 people there I guess to recieve the visa , mots of them were very nervous , I tried to keep calm and belive that God was help me and all the others who were there in the same position .

A consular agent looked my papers and checked everything was according what they have requested for and she told me to wait that in few minutes the consul would call me for the real interview

I noticed that the 2 people that I was talking to and make some friendship left the Consul´s booth with joy , pleased and they told everything was fine their visa was approved , well and right them it was my turn ...

The consul asked me to rise my right hand and made sure if all the papers and ifnormations was true then I said yes... and he made this questions :

    1) Have you ever been to USA ?

    2) Where did you meet your husband and tell the story

    3) When is his birthday ?

    4) Do you know your mother-in law ?

    5) and your father in law?

    6) How did he purpose you ?

    7) Do you have pictures ? let me see some ...

And he looked to face and said : Mrs Vanessa your is approved !!!!

Well the consul was calm but he was straight to the point , he seemed to be tough but he was gentle and kind.

He didnt look my emails and the other evidences but its always good to take with you every proove you have from your relationship, he kept the forms .... he looked at the support financial papers and proove such as I 134 , IRS , W2 and only .

Now good look for yall who are waiting for the NOA2, interviews, interview letters ... I hope everything work good and peacefully .

    God Bless you

Wishing all the best for the February fillers !!!!

  9. Good Morning

I have a question to make and I sent it to the USA Embassy but they didnt answered me yet I hope you guys can help me out .

My husband got the IRS 1040 forms and W2s copies from him and his mother Our co sponsor at the interview we must submit the originals or copies ?

    Thanks a lots

  10. Hi

I am bringing my husband to the US. I don't meet the financial requirements. My father will be the joint sponsor.....AND because he is married and files his taxes jointly with my mom....my mom would be the Co-sponsor, is this correct? So my dad will fill out the I-864, and my mom would fill out only the I-864A, right? She does not need to fill out an I-864 too, right?

Now on to my next question, on part 1. of the I-864. What do I fill out, and what does my dad check?

    Do I check

    A. I am the petitioner. I filed or am filing for the immigration of my relative.

Does my dad check D. or E.

D.I am the only joint sponsor.

Hey I am Vanessa and my mother in law will be my co sponsor .

Im in K3 and as far as I know the co sponsor has to fill out the forms the same the that the sponsor has to fill out .

But i guess in your situation she has only to fill out I-864A.

Sorry if I didnt help you enough .

    Good Luck with your journey

    or

    E. I am the First __ Second___ of two joint sponsors

I'm just really confused as to what box we should check. Any insight would be appreciated.

    Sincerely,

    Delila
