  1. Hi everyone,

Im so happy i got offer a temp to hire job that pays 10 dollars and hour and will get raise to 12.00 after 90 days. I was thinking if im working now until summer of 2010 i will start filing for k1 for my fiance in summer, and hopefully by 2011 spring he can get his interview date and i have tax income for 2010. I can only show 2010 income tax and during 2008, 2009 i do not make enough but now i can probably make good money to sponsor him. what do u all think of my plan will it be good or not should i wait 3 years later to sponsor him. there wont be co sponsor cause i cant get anyone so its all up to me.

    please advice anyone

  2. hello every buddy .. can any one answer my qustion

i got visa 1 wek ago ..but i am not clicked with my fiance ....i still have my visa and every thing goes good

can i get mary another girle when i get in us ...? or can i do any thing keep me there

    thanks in advance

People like you seriously make the visa process much harder for the rest of us that have legitimate relationships. From your question here it sounds like you just wanted to find a way to come to this country and stay here, and that getting married is just a means to an end-- that's visa fraud. If any "girle" will do once you get here (so that you can stay here), then you really aren't in love. It really burns me up that we have wait in line so long behind people like you.

    :ranting:

    I agree to that 100%

  3. Hi all,

Im planning to apply for k1 next year for my fiance. Right now Im working and this year I am sure that I will make about 20,000, I know this will be enough and above poverty. But I am concern that if I apply next year probably ill start in March, I can only show 2009 tax income for next year because this year 2009, i will be above poverty. But during 2007,08 I dont work that much and did not file any tax if I have money in the bank like about 7,000 plus 2009 tax and letter from employer, will that be good to start filing for next year. Please people who are expert or been through this process please help me out. If this doesnt work out than will I have to work 3 whole year to be above poverty to sponsor him, and also i cannot find anyone to help co-sponsor so this is y i am asking ur help. thanks a lot

  4. For 2 people it is 14,000 so if I add 125% it is 17,500. So if I was to have a annual salary of 17,920 let's say and that is without subtracting taxes, would that be ok for the visa or do I need to make 17,500 with taxes taken out?

$17,500 is the minimum without subtracting taxes. Please bear in mind it is a minimum guideline, not an assurance the Consular officer will accept it as sufficient evidence your loved one will not become a public charge.

ur situation is similar to mine, im thinking about working full time 8.00 part time 7.30

  5. My goal for 2009 is to work, work, work and so hopefully my annual income will be above 17,000, im still young only 20 and so dont really work that much in the past only part time and have never file tax before so hopefully after next year i can file, do u think it will be good idea to do the k1 visa after my very first year of fulltime job that i will probably make about 19,000. Well my very first year of having a fulltime job and being above poverty guideline be good enough to sponsor him or should i wait a couple more years when i actually have more income. Please i need peoples advice, because i wont be able to have a co-sponsor. My parent are on SSI and welfare money they wont be able to help. Its all up to me.

If you have clear evidence you are earning over $17,500 annualized, you will qualify as sponsor. Your life plans as to timing are for you to judge.

thanks for the quick reply also another question if a person make above poverty and have good enough proof of ongoing relation than there is no reason for the interviewer to deny the case right.

  7. when my fiance go on interview does he go get his interview done at us embassy or his home country embassy he is indonesian living in canada there is a indonesian embassy also usa im just confuse. He's not citizen of canada just up there trying to become canadian resident through refugee. also will we be able to do the k1 visa while he applying for refugee in canada will that be a reason we cannot apply for k1

  8. ok so im thinking about having my brother as co-sponsor, so on his income tax he is claming his son so his son is dependant on him. My question is on the poverty guideline does it mean that for the size of family its 2 for him and his son, or do we add my fiance and so will it be 3 family size on the poverty guideline, im new to this and i am a little confuse. Because he will co-sponsor so will my fiance needed to be add with him and his son, because my bro will be co-sponsor.
