Its been a while since i last posted here but i do check the message every week. Just to update you about the status of my application. On Saturday I received my GREEN CARD in the mail without any email notification and no update on the website. Its been such a smooth journey for me. THANK GOD!! What's amazing is that...it took us exactly one year since we filed our fiance visa application up to the time when we received my Green Card!

wow its been a while since i last checked the forum and im sooo glad to see more

approvals and interview schedule. good luck to those who have their interview soon and bring us the good news.

my case was transfered to CSC and i havent receive any mail regarding an interview...hope that means i will receive

my GC without an interview. I'm happy that my AOS got touched twice this week. Hoping and praying to hear from them about the approval soon. By the way, i noticed from the Sept filers whose case were transfered to CSC are already starting to receive their EAD approval. That's a good sign.

Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On December 17, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

On December 12, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Hoping and praying to receive my EAD sooooonn!!

Congrats, guys. The spreadsheet is updated when the info is posted in the thread. I'm here pretty much everyday, so it will be as up to date as the info provided.

I'm honestly confused about the SSN and EAD applications.

Questions!

1.Does the USCIS sends the SSN form?

2.Do i really need to get my EAD first before i can apply my SSN?

3.Do we need to pay the whole $1010 for AOS even i already have my EAD?

Any reliable information would be appreciated.Thanks

Hi! I believe these are the answers to your questions:

1. No the USCIS doesn't send the SSN for but you can download it from the SSA website.

2. You can get your SSN even without your EAD as long as you apply for it few weeks before your I-94 expires.

3. I think YES...you still have to pay $1,010 even you already have EAD.

Here's my situation...i sent my AOS package with EAD and AP, got NOA for all yesterday. While reading the forum i found out that my category should be under c9 instead of a6 in my EAD form. i entered the US as fiance. What's the best thing for me to do......should i send a new application with c9 category now or should i just wait til i receive a letter from them? your advice will be very much appreciated!
