1. Instead of doing all of this I-134 forms and verification why doesn't they USCIS OR NVC just run a credit report on the sponsor?

Any idea about this? please give me some info about it.

2. Any one have some idea about the form sponsor's financial responsibility under the Social security act"?

Just getting lost in here don't know where we can get this kinds of form.

I call the NVC today just to asked if the got our file and the lady said yes. But she also said our files is in additional processing.

Anyone out there having some issue like us PLEASE share your experienced...

08-08-2008 - Mailed I-129F (K1 Visa) Petition to VSC

08-11-2008 - I-129F (K1 Visa) Petition received by VSC

08-14-2008 - NOA1 received

01-14-2009 - Petition "Touched"

01-22-2009 - Petition "Touched"

02-12-2009 NOA2 email

02-19-2009 - Hard copy NOA2.

Got some question in here,we are waiting for our approval for K-1 Visa and i applied for my Cemonar its come out that i have a record with my previous marriage but my Divorce papers already done since October 2008 is this a big issue for the interview? Please help..

If I'm not mistaken ::Requirement is 125% of poverty level. 17k or 17.5k is the poverty line...Keep reading there's a lot's of post Regarding this matter...Good Luck....

You will be interview in Singapore and I don't think you need a new passport. I guess its better if you write your timeline here so its helpful to everybody

My Suggestion for you is to apply a new passport before you send you K-1 visa application since that your old passport will be expired 2010 \.

Take note that takes a long time to process for K-1 visa so when the time you got approved your old passport its almost expired too...

If i were you better apply a new to avoid delayed..

Or,,,Call Philippine Consulate in Singapore and the can give you a best advice...For my own experience i did renew early my passport as my old green one well be expiring end of 2009 but i did apply a Computerize one last march...

Hi,

I noticed a November 2008 Vermont topic, but didn't see one for California. Just sent my K1 in today- used fed ex because post office is closed today for Veteran's Day, so no mail. I guess we will see how it goes... Anyone else so far this month?
