  1. Good Grats Noah & Mia,

Hope everything is smooth sailing for us now. I must add although i did not post much, you guys kept me from going postal. I hold each and everyone of you in the Aug 08 Filers group in the highest regards. YOU GUYS ROCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe someone should jot the names down and we can do a yearly get together. God bless us all but especially AUG 08 Crew.

  2. Youre 100 % right. It would make things alot easier for them and us if they would just give a straight answer. If they dont know then just say so.

Im just beside myself. If it wasnt for reading the responses on vj i think i would just pull my ears off.

Youre going to like this one, i called again and spoke to another person. This person told me they are processing March 08 and it looks like the time frame is going to be at least another 8 months for Aug 08 filersh. I fell off my chair, where is he getting this calculation from ???????????

I don't know what the heck that guy is talking about...8 more months????!!!! Now you know very well that cannot be possible. I know that not every K-1 filer at either VSC or CSC becomes a VJ member, but we can safely say that VJ has enough statistics to prove that whatever that man is talking about is a load of bull because so many Aug 08 filers have been approved and still are being approved. I just cannot believe the ####### these USCIS customer service pple tell us.

Do you have a number for the Vermont Center. I keep calling the 800-375-5283 and all i get is a live robot, that seems to be reading from a script. WE ARE PROCESSING MARCH 2008.........

Looks like most of us August filers are already preparing for the medical/interview or at least out of NVC...

For those of us STILL WAITING FOR APPROVAL, like me...this week seems to drag on, doesn't it?

Still hoping for approval this week, I don't understand why it is taking so long...especially since I already received an RFE and I sent it back and they resumed processing since January 6th, 09....most other people with RFE's got approved 1 week after, or at least 2-3 days after their RFE...I hope I am not stuck is some type of security check...

Does anyone know whether they send RFEs initially in the adjudication process or is it after they have reviewed everything that they just send the RFE and then make the decision based on that?

Looking for some comfort as to why no NOA2 yet...

you have to call them and start bitching....... sorry for the B word

Well gumbo, as Fred says they might tell you the same... my fiance is calling them almost everyday, and they ALWAYS ay the same .... but maybe you get some luck and talk to the key person

MARM yes I think you should start calling them on monday .. you can still wait this week for your approval, after your RFE you should already have your approval!!!

ALL STILL WAITING FOR APPROVAL please hang on!!! Everytime I get online and check VJ I feel better .... you guys give me straingh! thank you ALL!!

And we are here waiting together ... it will come soon!!!!!!! I am praying and thinking about it EVERY DAY, and I allways include my VJ friends that are also waiting! :star:

  5. VSC might as well closed the office all last week, there productivity amounted to a big ZERO. Oh wait i think they processed a whopping 1 :(

    Question for all of you:

Do you guys know exactly what days the CSC/VSC processing centers are closed next week?

My understanding is that CSC/VSC are only closed on Monday, Jan. 19.

    Am I right?

Yes you are right. Unfortunatly they are closed monday:((((((

  6. Chuck and Grace,

I hear you....Its crazy and the part that pisses me off to no end. I can actually picture them having coffee, doughnuts and bullshitting for a while. Get a little lunch break afterwards. Oh lets not forget the afternoon required break. THEN and only then do the get a little work done, and guess what its time to go home..................geez I am about to break my TV. LOL

Do they treat non Japanese differently ?. You said you expedited the process HOW fill me in.

  7. Chuck and Grace,

Thanks for cracking me up. I think you’re right, what ever general letter i send to the agency. will certainly get treated to the LA GARBAGE CAN. So frustrating.

Do you have a name of a manager or supervisor at the vjc ?. I guess i can try that route. I keep trying to contact my senator or congressman and i think they are on a permanent lunch or something. To think how my hard earned tax $$$ is being used. aaaaayayyyyyyyyyyyy

  8. Ok i think i have been pretty patient, not really posting just sitting in the back ground trying to keep myself biz. But now i think i am going to lose my FU(*ING mind.........................

Spoke to an officer online for a 1/2 hour today and i think i could’ve gotten a better answer from a street hobo. The officer knew absolutely NADA !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there a way that a bunch of us Aug leftovers can write a letter at the same time to get them to move their a$$,,,,, the holidays are over jeeez.

  9. I have been pretty quiet just reading my fellow august filers replies. And i am very happy for all the august approvals so far. I guess its time for me to start making some noise. Getting really restless waiting for my noa2.

Hey am i a semi gold member ?.

I think you need about... 498 more posts to reach gold member....

Geeez i think i better get cracking LOL,

  10. Hello Everyone,

Another aug filer and new to VJC joining the party. Does anyone have any news on how the snails are moving in vermont ?.

This process is killing me. When i was first informed about the k1 peition. I was told it would take a total of 6 months from start to finish (HA). From the information i have gathered in vjc, i guess i was miss informed.

But i do feel very lucky to have stumpled upon this site. Seems to have a lot of wonderful people who are also going thru the very same experience that i am.

  11. Need some experienced advice. My finance and her son are living in the Dominican Republic. I have submitted the I-129F forms on their behalf.

I have received the NOA1 and I am now waiting on # 2. I know I maybe thinking a little ahead, but I was wondering at the embassy interview. Is it necessary to have the child accompany us to the interview? He’s is listed in the application.

    CONFUSSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. :bonk:
