  1. I got it today!!!!!!!!:dance::dance: The interview date for my Tanushka is on April the 9th at 8:00am!!!!!:dance::dance: I am sooooo happy!!! Does anyone know if it is easy to schedule the medical exam over the phone? I need to schedule the exam for 2 days before her interview, so she can make one trip to Moscow. She lives 8 and one half hours away from Moscow, but has to go to Moscow for both the medical exam and the interview. I really could use some help her, I am trying to purchase airfare, but I am finding it hard to do without a medical date. :crying::crying::crying: Please, please, please help me...........

  2. Congratulations probablyamerican! Things will move quicker now.

Thanks! I thought it would neber come

Hey all! So how is everyone doing? I just mailed off a binder of information to my SO. I am hoping NVC forwards our petition soon so that he could schedule an interview ASAP. I have a quick question, though: how often does NVC update their case status? Every time I call the automated system, the guy tells me that they haven't received my case. This is driving me crazy!!! I know it's only been a week, but do we know how often the automated system is updated?

I called NVC for a week and everytime received the same message you are referring to. Finally, last Friday I called and got a live voice on the phone. I asked about my case and the lady at NVC told me they had received my case and forwarded it on to the embassy in Moscow two days prior. I found that it is best to talk to someone rather than rely on their automated system.

Dogspot...How long before you called the NVC? I was approved and I am very excited to know, so I am kind of following you. Thanks

Congratulations! I knew y'all would be approved soon. If you received your hard copy, there is a chance your case has already been sent to NVC. I would call them today or in the next couple of days.

Thank you, I ws getting really worried and thanks for the info. on the NVC.

  4. Hi! Back from the frozen land of the far East of Russia. I was hoping for a lower number, but I will take what I can get at this point. I was following Aldo and Amy and I have flown past their number, the number when they got their NOA2. I am hoping to get my NOA2 vey soon, as I am going crazy waiting for this machine to lurch forward. I have gotten no touches or anything since the NOA1. It was nice visiting my Tanushka, but now I want the NOA2 much faster than before. I could not imagine going a year without seeing her. I have been reading the posts and have been getting very excited at the lowering numbers!!!! I hope everyone hangs in there and congrats to the lucky ones who have recieved their NOA2s.

  5. Hello, Does anyone know what is required for the actual medical in Moscow? I am very confused on what they are going to do to my girl. I know they are taking blood for diseases and HIV etc., but do they do a 'complete' physical on her( if you know what I mean)????????????????:unsure::unsure::unsure::unsure:

I know to check the posts and general questions, but I am not sure exactly what they will do, Russia is very different than America, in their procedures....

  6. Christmas is coming and in Russia they do not celebrate like we do. I am very excited because I get to go and visit Tanushka again on the 1st day of January! In Russia, they celebrate Christmas on January the 7th and I will be with her. I will only stay in Blagoveshchensk until the 9th, but I will enjoy every day of my union with her. Russia has some different celebrations than we do here in America. I guess for New Years they drink and cook and stay up all night. The entire city closes and they all celebrate!! It is very cold where I am going and I live in Arizona, so I will go from warm to cold!! I had to buy a funny fur hat and new coat and the like. I will report back when I get back to America and tell how my trip was. I will also take many pictures and post some of them on this page.:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:
