Any update with May filing? It's been 3 months now. you think we should usics for status beside what it said on "usics check status"?

I read somewhere in this forums that the law will change of not being able for US citizen to partition (I-130) sibling to live USA? Has that law effective yet? If not, when? Also, Is it 10yrs+ to bring sibling under 21?

2) In Cambodia it will take a month or so to have NBI clearance and about a month to mail and get it here in US. What is a good time to have my parents do there NIB? how long does it valid?

3) Medical exam: As a partitioner, do i need orginal of my parents medical exam to mail to NVC along with these

what is the usual timeframe for IR5 to call uscis after recieving NOA1? I know mine is almost 3mths, is it too early to have parents do Police Certificate and health certificate? How long does those valid?

based on what my friend's told me, his denial was insufficient documents and the whole process he did was totally wrong. This what happened when he asked someone else who had no experience in filing i-129f... Now. he's asking for my help after he appeal i-290B. From start to now, it's almost 3yrs already...

I told him to write a letter to withdrew his i-290B and re-file i-129F. Before sending, i will double check all his paperwork to meet i-129f rrequirement.

some April w/MSC got NOA2.. I'm also MSC and hopefully us May is next.

My friend filed a K-1 and was denied then he filed an appeal I-290B. A year now and no need from the appeal so he wrote a letter to withdrew his I-290B application. Now it's a month and no news on how his withdrew application status went. What should he do? Who he should contract and phone number to ask if he got approve for his withdrawal I-290?

He wants to re-file K-1 (I-129F) but not sure if he should wait for an approve letter of his withdrawal i-290B?

I wonder how long will NOA2 get approve???

I just thought of it. My wife only had one original birth certificate which was translated to English when she was in Cambodia. Since now that she is in the US, where can she get another original birth certificate or certified birth cert?

She need two birth cert. since she file I-130 for her dad and mom...

While waiting for NOA2 for I-130 (both parents), should i ask my parents to send all original documents to me because it took like 2 or 3 wks just to mail from Cambodia to US.

Original documents include:

• birth certificate
• married license
• 4 passport photo
• criminal record
• medical record

I guess that it, right?

Or it's too early to ask them to mail those. Anything I'm missing, please provide.

So to withdrawn I-290B, I need to write a letter to the office where I-290B was sent. Should I wait until they mail some type of confirmation letter before refiling the I-129F or can i re-file same day when the withdraw letter is send out?

An IR-5 visa is extremely similar to an IR-1/CR-1 visa, so everything posted in the first two posts will apply to your case. The only difference is in the IV package where there are a few petitioner documents needed in IR-5 cases. I believe I've made a note about it in the FAQ when I listed the documents.

I must have overlooked but I see no note pertaining IR-5 and thx for the fast reply.
